Sutton was an amazing name for real estate in our province. In the last few years the upper management seems to forget that their staff are the ones who are the heart and soul. You treat your staff well, and your agents well then your company should run seamlessly. Too many staff members without company pay raises over 5 + years. Increasing fees for agents and franchise fees to make more money in the higher management pocket but it does not trickle down. Offices are dirty, out dated, and to be frank - trashy. Working there was truly a regret. If they want to run the company into the ground then the direction they are going will do that.

Must be a multi-tasker.  Working alone most of the day, with realtors coming in and out throughout the week.  Manager comes in office briefly every few days but works primarily at the Victoria office.  This position processes sales deals, reception duties, receiving packages and any other requirements to help with the smooth operation of office.  This building also has other professionals renting space within office, so you are the first reception or contact point for their clients when they come into office.

In the few weeks since I was hired by this company I was asked to complete an illegal two-day ‘working interview,’ worked 34.5 hours without being signed to a contract, was directly exposed to Covid-19 after the boss contracted it by attending a large indoor gathering and put on lockdown for two weeks without pay, wasn’t properly trained and then humiliated by the boss in front of a coworker.

Being a Realtor is generally a commission based occupation. If you are good at running a business, you will thrive here. Management here was always happy to help if you asked. And that's the important thing, you should always ask for help! It is not easy getting started as a Realtor.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Office is pretty typical, nothing special. mixture of seperate offices (paid for by employees) and an open cubicle area for people to work in (free to use, sort of)

Productive workplace but too much office drama. While I was only there for about a year's time, I've learnt a lot of things especially from being a regular office admin to conveyancer

It's a respectful working environment, and employer always provide different resources for you to learn new skills. Good pay with little experience and flexible working hours.

Build a business at your own pace. You can be as successful as much as you apply yourself.  If you are not getting out there everyday you will have a hard time having enough income for the year.

I have learned many things, such as improving my skills and abilities and interacting with peoples.
It was a fun place to work at and gaining a lot of knowledge.
