What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As a Driver a typical day was the following
Pre-Trip Inspection: The day might start with a thorough pre-trip inspection of the coach, ensuring that it is in optimal condition for the day's journeys.
Route Planning: Drivers may review and plan their routes, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and any special requirements for passengers.
Passenger Assistance: Interacting with passengers, providing assistance, and ensuring a comfortable and safe travel experience.
Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies throughout the journey.
Communication: Maintaining communication with the operations team and addressing any issues or changes in real-time.

As said by micro management: "Full time drivers get no time off in the summer." Straight pay. No overtime pay, no holiday pay.  No work life balance. Expect to work long hours and late hours. 

Aging buses with mechanics doing as little as possible to correct the problems. No fun for everyone when a bus breaks down mid trip. 

Only senior drivers get dedicated buses. Even the part time ones. So unless your over 60 yrs old and been on the job more than 15 yrs, expect to drive a different older bus that's shared with other drivers every time and hope someone cleaned it like they should have at the end of their shift. 

Sometimes you stay in terrible hotels, different than what the clients and tour operators book, which are usually the better ones. The tour operators, clients and passengers are aware of this, trust me, they know the difference in buses they get.  TRAXX is not what it used to be. 

As with any passenger transportation provider the work is non standard.  You work when everyone else is having fun or not working.  The work during the winter is basicly split shift.  You drive somewhere and wait and then drive back.  If you expect a 9-5 job then this is no the industry for you.  These can be long hours, with the opportunity to experience places and events you could only dream of

As a travel director you are expected to do all your own reaearch including coming up with games, etc for your passengers. There is alot of out of pocket expenses and compensation does not reflect the hours put in.  I was all
About the customers experience but was never thanked or rewarded for it.  Or I would still be there

There wasn't really any stress working here

The environment was good ft mac. The culture was excellent. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You're expected to do the job safety and in compliance. Other than that it was fairly good overall .

Stressful environment bad sleeping habits management tuff to deal with they expect way to much from there driver's and dont allow drivers to get the required amount of rest alot of times that is in the Alberta transportation rules and regulations

A great place to grow your career, there are many opportunities to grow as a person and worker. Management is working hard to create a work environment built on trust & mutual respect to ensure everyone works well together to follow the rules and protocols in place. If you are looking for a company that says what they mean, and follows through, look no further!

Currently Traxx Coachlines is my  employer, never have I felt like I was part of a great hard working family.  The drivers are very personable, as well as the management always there looking out for one another.  Training is provided, a very organized a safe knit family.  Great opportunities to advance in the company as well as travel and see the great places our country has to offer.

Dispatch don’t care and pushes you until you can’t anymore even when you’re sick or in vacation they still call you to do a trip. Treated like shit basically. 

They don’t have cleaners so for the wage driving plus cleaning buses inside and out after a 14 hours day doesn’t worth it. 

Liked driving the big buses, but didn’t like how they treated the drivers. 

Poor communication and poor management lack of organization poor human resources 
 When I work there for approximately 5 years quiet years no communications would not respond to your emails Work there 7 days a week 8 to 10 hours A-day and no appreciation for your work
