I would only have to do the papers 3 days a week, I would have to deliver to 100 houses which is a good amount of work. I would do the route right after I was done school. It is nice in the summer because the weather is warm and people are outside so you get to talk with and get to know the neighbours. It sucks in the winter and it takes longer to do because it is cold and there is snow.

You get paid based on how much flyers you delver for example for one flyer they pay like half a cent. Every time there is a management change they don't tell you who is your new manager. You would have to find out when you call them then make them scramble all around the system just trying to to find one person. Plus, EVERY time you call your manager they are never around/never pick up.

Typical day would be putting all the newspapers and flyers together then going out and distributing them throughout the neighborhoods. 
It's not very hard but it was time consuming and you don't get paid very much. Most enjoyable part you get to interact with neighbors, be the first one to see the sales and it's a nice walk.

On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays i would have to bring the bundles of one hundred and ten newspapers from outside into my house, spend about 2 hours organizing the bundles and wrapping them in elastic bands, when that process was complete i would have to deliver all of those to the correct house.

Receiving newspaper and flyers on time, very friendly staff. When needed more rubber bands they send them asap within the next few days. Great experience to learn to work with "customers" receiving the newspapers.

A typical day at work depended on the weather, I learned how to manage my time wisely. The hardest part of the job was working in bad weather conditions, the best part of the job was when there were minimal flyers to put in the papers.

Takes roughly 1-2 hours just preparing newspapers, and then you would spend another 1-2 hours delivering (depending on the amount of homes). The tips from customers were nice.

Hours of work are very flexible and suited for those with busier schedules. Management not as supportive as it should be; lacking in organization.

I do around 50 houses, and it takes about an hour and a half. It isn't a bad job considering it doesn't take a long, but the salary isn't really a lot. It is a good first job though
