A Typical Day at Work

A typical day involves managing my responsibilities independently and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact. I work in a self-directed environment with minimal supervision, which requires strong organization, focus, and accountability. My role often involves problem-solving, coordination, and ensuring that work is completed accurately and on time.

What I Believe I’ve Learned

I’ve learned to be highly disciplined and proactive in my work. Being in a role that requires focus and independent decision-making has strengthened my ability to manage time effectively, think critically, and adapt quickly. I am continuously learning—both through hands-on experience and through new opportunities within the organization that encourage growth and development.

The most challenging part of the job is maintaining a high level of focus and performance in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. It requires consistent effort, strong time management, and the ability to balance competing priorities.

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job

The most enjoyable part of the job is the opportunity to learn and grow while working independently. I find satisfaction in taking ownership of my work, meeting challenges head-on, and continuously developing my skills within the organization.

Working at The Tooth corner has taught me a lot over the years and helped me grow tremendously. The CEO highly values education and developing his teams, and believes in taking care of his staff. If you need to advance your education, it is a guarantee that he will support you, as he likes to strengthen his people and make sure they learn at any given opportunity. As someone who is new to the Health Care industry, I can say for certain that I've learned a lot and continue to learn something new on a daily basis. If you're looking for a place that can help you learn and grow and push you to use your critical thinking and problem solving skills, this is where you want to be! :)

Untrained Front Desk Staff: One of the biggest challenges I faced was the lack of proper training at the front desk. This led to frequent administrative issues, delays in scheduling, and poor communication with patients. Improving training and processes in this area would go a long way in streamlining office operations.

Low and Late Payments: A recurring issue was the low and delayed payments for work done. It was frustrating not receiving timely and accurate compensation. This issue impacted both the office’s cash flow and my financial stability, creating unnecessary stress.



Working at Tooth Corner is a joy! My typical day is a mix of patient care, team collaboration, and administrative tasks - it's never dull! I've learned so much about prioritizing patient needs and working efficiently as a team.

The management team is super supportive, and the workplace culture is all about positivity and growth. We support each other, and it makes a huge difference.

The hardest part of the job is definitely handling tough patient situations, but our team's support makes it manageable. And the most enjoyable part? Seeing patients leave with smiles and knowing I played a part in their care. It's rewarding to know I'm making a difference, even in small ways. I'm loving every moment here! 

I worked there for quite some time and the management team plays favourites. A lot. The scheduling system is not fair or reasonable. They expect you to put ToothCorner above yourself, your family, your education, and anything else. They require a completely open availability and even require you to come in on your days off due to the “favourites” just not wanting to work that day. There is a ridiculous amount of work that would be considered a manager’s responsibility at any other office that is pushed on to low level staff.

My typical day at work starts early, entering payments getting set up for the day.  I have learned so many things with the opportunity to take multiple courses online that the owner of tooth corner provides to all staff.  Management is amazing all the support I ever need at anytime of day no hesitation, always there to encourage me when I need it or had a bad day.  The hardest part is nothing really every job has challenges, but I also have the support.  The enjoyable part is the staff, dedicated and willing to give 10 plus every day

This place is good for getting your foot in the door, but beyond that, it's a joke. Your pay is once a month, and even then they can't pay you on time. So, if you have bills to pay, good luck paying them. They give you more work without a promise for a raise, and if you switch jobs within the company that has a pay increase due to job description, again, good luck to you.
You're given a set schedule, but due to under-staffing, you either have to go in on a day off, or work extra long days. 

The Tooth Corner was one of my first jobs in the dental field and a terrible mistake. The location I worked in was full of drama. A lot of the staff and manager would pretend to befriend you and gossip behind your back. The wage was insanely low. The staff always spoke to each other about what they were making so there was constant drama in respects to wage. Their standard of patient care is questionable. The office is more about making money and paying you as little as possible than anything

The dentist is a know it all thinks she’s better then everyone and the work environment is very stressful instead of helping each other they just yell at you make you feel worthless instead of building you up! Expect you to just know everything right away! Meanwhile no one there does! Would def not recommend working for this company ! Dentist doesn’t know what she’s doing half the time there’s so many better places to work please save yourself the headache!

This was the highest stress job I've ever had, and I've worked some doozies. I wouldn't want anyone I care about to work there. The upper management is the most I professional I have ever encountered.
