insanely long hours working events with extremely high standards upon you. Supervisors treat you with complete disrespect, including screaming and swearing and blaming you for things you mess up when they refuse to teach you how to do the job. Unprofessional management, and a complete mess behind the scenes. Ironic considering the fancy establishment facade they try so hard to uphold. Only benefit I found was service experience at a young age, as they hire kids as young as 14, taking advantage of their low pay rates. No tips allowed, even though we more than deserve it. Often times, the staff dinner that comes out of your pay check will be leftovers, disgusting, or simply nothing at all - even though they make enough good food for their for events and members to feed a village. easy to take off shifts because they have many employees to cover for you, but they trash talk you if you do. Management act like children and gossip about the kids, treating you like a piece of gum on the bottom of their shoe. downright the worst place I have ever worked and I guaruntee my coworkers can say the same.

A typical day at would would include managers swearing at you and occasionally questioning your intelligence level (other employees).
From this position I learned qualities such as perfecting personal work and caring about the quality of personal work. The hardest part of this job was working into the hot summer days and staying hydrated throughout the day. The employees I worked with and managers I grew to know, was ultimately the best part of this position. Some of the colorful individuals at this company made everyday different, and exciting!

Creepy rich old white guys who think that since they pay money to belong to the club they can do whatever they want.
An unnecessarily stressful and toxic environment that is harbored and fostered by management

It is a good place to work, the staff is very friendly. It is easy to learn about the jobs that you are given. Working outside during the summer with the view makes it even better

It was very relaxed working here because to the view and the demands of the members. I learned how to set banquet table properly. My co-workers were very professional while at the same time the club had its own community. The most enjoyable part of the job was during the summer time when the patio is open. The view is just breathtaking.

Overall good work environment that helped to develop skills to aid in serving and customer service. Fast-paced but generally positive and colleagues were helpful and nice.

Fast-paced and strict, but good overall environment. Job requirements included serving up to 200 people in one night. Establishment strives for perfection but created an overall comfortable working environment.

Work can be boring and tedious but your co-workers are there to help you get through them. Best part of the day was driving in golf carts and John Deer RTVs.

It's a beautiful location but it's filled with useless, incompetent managers that cover each others' butts. The food is mediocre and the "chef" is a joke. Pay is only average, work is pretty easy.

I had a pretty decent time at the Toronto Hunt Club. The course is stunning and the job is decently rewarding if you enjoy being outdoors and providing customer service.
