The negative impact of Covid-19 on the company and staff was initially underestimated. It started with a staff reduction from what was once an excellent group of people; close knit, family feel, personality fit, culture, sense of belonging and pride. The rebuilding process has been a challenge to say the least. It has been most stressful on the staff who were asked to take on extra workload to carry the company through. It has been harder on some than others. 

As business is returning to normal, the company is definitely turning the corner. There is a great new team here that are starting to come together. Each one has a genuine interest to help, to learn and show the ambition to be the best. This is how we are rebuilding a great team and kicking Covid-19 to the curb! The feeling is so much better than it has been since the start of Covid-19. 

Lessons learned? Managing stress has been more difficult than expected. Replacing and training whole departments is harder than replacing and training 1 person. The process is much easier with people who have ambition, the right attitude and the right fit. Keep adjusting until you get it right. And when you get it right, hold onto them. I rated this a 4 star and not 5 to be realistic. There is always room for improvement.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Exposure to artwork & medical imaging equipment .Interesting stuff.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When the company was busy it wasn't too bad.When it slowed down however, one was subjected to a ridiculous amount of scrutiny,mostly in yard video.The simple act of engaging in a conversation with another employee without "looking busy" could find oneself being lectured by most."We're not paying you to talk" was a familiar refrain.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Again...when the $ was flowing , and the company was doing well...not a bad place to be.When it slowed down..another story completely.The OPS Mgr at the time preferred to yell rather than talk,tear down the employees rather than build them up.Not a pleasant man to be around.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Uneventful....away from the yard.The stress level increased the more I spent at the yard.I drove a truck..local pick up, deliveries etc.Not rocket science.

Having worked for TOTAL for almost 2 years, I was welcomed with open arms!  The management took excellent care, and time into training and were always available for questioning.  

This experience taught me so much and I am proud to have had the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and engage with clients.  Management, as well as other colleagues, were so helpful and knowledgeable.  The team atmosphere was something that was actively advocated for and I am happy to say that I truly felt as part of a supportive team that encouraged others to succeed, and become more confident in their abilities, all while maintaining an excellent client management perspective. 

I am proud to be leaving this experience with so many friends, and lifelong colleagues!  I look forward to connecting with this amazing family again in the near future!! 

Worked at the company for just shy of a year in the Customer Service department.  I found the position to be one that presented different challenges and learning opportunities on a daily basis. 
The employees are like no others. Willing to help, knowledgeable, caring. The here is an air of friendliness and belonging. 
Management is approachable. Some say that some of them are abrasive which is not the case. They are passionate and reflect that in their daily tasks.   
My only suggestion would be to communicate openly with your staff when possible and applicable. 
 My overall experience with TTS was one of positivity and openness. There are areas in which could be improved upon just like any organization however if my circumstances were different I would still be an employee 

I started at TTS in October of 2021 and from day one the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Very strict on Covid protocol for the benefit of employees. The family atmosphere and very frequent treats for staff made it fun to go into work everyday. The 12 days of Christmas put of by the entertainment committee ensured everyone was included from the President of the company down to the newest employee. I started there not know anything about the trucking business and in 5 short months have learned a lot from the staff at TTS.
I left only because I moved out of Province and if my travels bring me back to Ontario I will not hesitate to look up TTS for job opportunities. I will recommend TTS to anyone looking for a new challenge and friendly place to work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The coworkers and staff in general. Very welcoming and patient when it came to learning  the job. Can't forger the free lunches on behalf of management they treat you lfairly good. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful thing I would say would be having to work over your scheduled time because a driver pulled in last minute and the company needs the truck to be emptied.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fast paced, professional and very clean.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
All I can say is that it starts at a moderate pace and then gets really busy.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Unprofessional and CHEAP. Who uses windows 7 still, and outdated software . 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Owners and system, lack of organization and technology. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Boring, very hostile and owners are un appreciative 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start early leave on time make a mistake and start getting yelled at

Spent 17 years as highway driver. Left to pursue other interests but would come back in a heartbeat.  You are more than just a number and although the work can be challenging it is very rewarding physically mentally and most of all financially!!  Paid meals was a great perk as well. 


Enjoyed my time there the front line staff are excellent and make it work despite a few issues  -  the VP who is a bully and screamer . Has an open door policy but never answers a question or educates .  The computer program is archaic.  Company front line  gave me a chance to learn the business - shame management has little time to teach and guide .

Dispatchers lie,
Management yells,
Typically fix one mess by creating a bigger one,
It’s a shame that you so very hard to be treated so poorly.
