Trailcon prides itself on receiving a “great place to work” title, though I’m not sure how they achieve this award in recent years. When I first came on board, Trailcon had a warm, inviting atmosphere. It was run with people in mind, however, in recent years the top priority is money no matter what that may cost their employees. 
The wages are below average, the sales team consistently push their own tasks onto the administrative team. The leadership team is dismissive and manipulative and standing up for yourself is frowned upon. 
The leadership team will have you absorb entire positions with the promise of compensation and no fulfillment. 
This company has zero integrity, zero trustworthiness and zero respect. 

Trailcon has the potential to be a great place to work, there was once a sense that they had good intentions but a serious reform on their leadership team needs to take place to achieve this. 

Trailcon is an excellent place to work.  I don't understand some of the reviews that I have seen.  (some must be former employees).  

Trailcon believes in hiring slow to ensure they get the right person.  But if that person cannot handle a fast paced environment, and aren't self sufficient then Trailcon is not the place for you.  

Trailcon allows you to work on your own, but expects productivity and hard work.

The response to COVID has been excellent.  They put their employees first, even before it was mandated by the government.

With every company comes some cons...Trailcon has some, but the good far outweighs the bad.

Trailcon is a great place to work, that really cares about its employees, and treats people fairly.  A healthy outlook on work/life balance. It's nice to feel appreciated and valued, and know that what you are doing is making a difference within the organization.  Management is approachable. They believe in working hard but having fun while doing it. Everyone gets along great and there are no negative office politics.

Calgary's shop management doesn't care about their mechanics...it's all about bussines and that's it. Working at Trailcon you gonna get only promises, nothing real, however they have a very capable shop foreman from which I have learned alot. THANK YOU.

At the time my manager who I report to was awesome. He has now moved on to better opportunities. However, overall an employer who shows that they appreciate their employees and working together as a team, everyone was willing to help if you had questions. As long as you did your job and perform well, the company showed their appreciation 

Laid back fun place to work   benefits were decent and pay was ok
Then trailcon purchased hubs trailer service and kept the management from hubs to run trailcon. It all went down hill from there

I've had a great experience with Trailcon from the start to the point I am today. The quality of the work,  the improvemet over the years it makes Trailcon one of the top companies in the transportation industry.  Great people to learn from, very dedicated and well trained.

Management is very bad about sharing information. The pay is not great. Fair bennefits. Co workers are great.
Great work life balance. We do have a lot of fun but that doesn't pay the bills. 

This company really tries hard to put managers in place that will make the job more enjoyable. The Forman right now is the best I have ever come across. There is consistent work, never a shortage of work around.
