I have been working for the company as a US driver for almost 3 years, and my experience has been very positive in general.

All my interactions with management have been very positive. They have always listened to me, and they have always accommodated my requests. Dispatch is very pleasant to deal with, and management has always been accesible when needed.
I have been driving steadily 2800 miles weekly for the las two years.
The pay for the US drivers  is top in the industry from the beginning.They are still ahead of most companies in compensating their drivers.
 If you have a situation that is bothering you, just go and talk to the management, The sooner you talk to them, the sooner it will be solved.
I have never had an issue with my payments, not even once.
There are challenges like in pretty much every decent size trucking company in North America, but generally speaking I feel very comfortable working with Trans Ontario.

I had mixed experiences during my time at this workplace. A typical day was often challenging, and I didn't feel like I learned much in terms of growth or development. The management was disappointing, with a lack of respect towards employees. The compensation was also below par. However, some colleagues were friendly and made the work environment somewhat bearable. The hardest part was dealing with poor management and low pay, while the most enjoyable aspect was the camaraderie with certain coworkers. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives, leading to an overall unsatisfactory experience.

My experience at this job has been tough for a few reasons. Firstly, the management isn't very supportive, making it hard to do well in our roles. There's a lot of politics in the workplace, which makes it tough for everyone to work together smoothly. Since it's a family-owned business, there aren't many chances to grow in our careers, and job security is a big worry. What's disheartening is when family or friends join, existing employees are let go to make room for them, creating a sense of unfairness. Lastly, there's a noticeable lack of respect for employees, affecting how we feel about our work. Addressing these issues would make the job a much better place to be.

Trans-Ontario is a great trucking company to work for because they offer good wages and flexible work schedule. Also Trans-Ontario have loads going to USA, Western Canada, local deliveries, and trailer switches and drivers have the option to choose their route or to do dedicated runs to a single destination. All of their vehicles and trailers are mostly in great working conditions with very few breakdowns, and they have their own fleet mechanic shop on site.
However, all of the tractors are shared amongst with the other drivers which sometimes create tension and other unnecessary delays.

A typical day at work included checking e-mails to ensure any orders were taken care of. Create new accounts through cold calling. 
Prepare and present quotes with delivery times for new clients
Manage a high volume of existing accounts. Go to meetings.
 I had a high level of trust with my co-workers because it required extensive multi-tasking while working on several presentations at one time. The hardest part of my job was trying to do a good job for   difficult clients and the best part was achieving that goal.

When I started working at a place that has a much more professional environment that I am used to, everyone welcomed me with open arms, and what I thought would me a more difficult summer job ended up being very enjoyable, mainly because of the people there, always bettering my work and solving my mistakes all while explaining how to do it right. I never felt intimidated, it was an overall great experience.

you talk to this dis patch in the morning you get your assignment you get your truck ready for the day making sure it is safe to opperate ,the exciting part is everyday your doing something different there is a radfio in the truck  and the dispatch send you places to pick up freight to deliver or bring back to the yard the hardest part of the job is the traffic but after 14 years i can handle it  mostly the job is customer service which im very good att.

This place is not professional at all, team work is non existent and management doesn't seem to care. All are quick to anger and must have their nose in everything. Even the employees are rude. Pay isn't great either. Benefits aren't bad though so I will give them that. Unless you really upset them, slim chance of dismissal.

Everybody's really nice and respectful but the way the loads are setup you just won't make that much money (about 5500$) a month. Most loads i did was florida and you're pretty much out on the road for 1 week.. you come back home and you're off for a whole week hence why you don't end up making a lot $$
