I’ve really enjoyed my time working at Traveland RV. The environment is fast-paced, but also supportive and rewarding. Management genuinely cares about employee growth and encourages team collaboration. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, take on responsibility, and move up within the company.

One of the best parts about working here is the team – everyone is friendly, helpful, and passionate about what they do. It’s a great feeling to be part of a company that values its employees and treats customers with the same level of respect and care.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Trying to make a difference .A couple of the people are nice.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No body speaks much to you and those who do are unhappy and condescending

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Most people are unhappy. there is a toxicity to the place. You can cut the tension with a knife. There is a very high turn over those who don't quit get fired.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Do my job and nothing more .No one wants to hear anything that might improve things. Management is very insecure and don't care much for people who ask questions.

As an overview, I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated.  Management was not engaged with training in no way shape or form.  The "passing of the buck" as far as being trained by fellow associate, that had very little experience, is not the correct way to operate and is setting this company up for failure, as far as staffing is concerned.  Unfortunate because the Owners were very easy to connect with and seemed genuine.  Surprising they don't hold their Managers accountable for problems that arise.  What a disappointment and total waste of my time & skill set.

Langley location Traveland is not a terrible place to work but not a great place to work either. It is very hard to get any sort of wage increase or incentives. The company has really expanded over the past few years to the point where there is not enough management in place to ensure a professional and safe work environment. The managers are great people but, are more worried about making friendships. Physical loads are not shared equally and the manager does nothing to implement change or fairness. It was a great learning experience.

Great place to work with supportive co -workers and management. Every morning starting off with a sales meeting then continues into contacting new customer or excisting customers threw phone calls, text and email campiagns for each customer on different products that we have discussed. What i enjoy the most is finding the right product  for tthe customer and seeing them smile and excited on their purchase. The difficult part is compeating against other products that cost less. Over coming that is to built trust with the customes and value of the company and the product.

Worked at Traveland for almost a year, great experience working with other technicians and other departments. Management appears to have some internal issues with favouritism, and keeping up moral or owning up to any of their own faults. I was personally let go without cause after 5 days from returning from school receiving my journeyman certificate. And then the owners refuse to pay out the amount owed stated in a signed contract. 

However I did enjoy my time working there, very unfortunate things needed to go downhill so very quickly.

Some of the employees are wonderful, but corporate management is a joke. They play favourites to people who are willing to participate in drama and any non work related stuff. You can’t just put your head down and work, because one of the managers favourites will run to them about anything- even if it’s not true. Management won’t listen to both sides. 
Overall it’s a miserable place to work. If you value your mental health at all don’t work here. 

 I loved my job for the first half of my employment ( altogether 1 year) then it was made very clear to me that anyone friends with management was untouchable and could do no wrong. Lots of fake faces/ pleasantries until you make a mistake. Disciplinary actions are taken in unprofessional manners and HR is no help. By the end of my employment my mental health had severely deteriorated, mind you, management was aware of my mental health and blatantly ignored it. 

They have great product to sell. However. They don't like paying their employees, they like to extend delivery day as far as possible. Making paychecks extremely low for a WHILE. They have alot of false promises at the start. I wouldn't recommend anyone working with them. I was there for 6 months and saw so many good crew members that were with the company that traveland bought out, quit. Due to management. Management won't stick up for you.

This is a high pressure work environment, where everyone is in a constant state of self preservation.  The effort you put in is never good enough, your numbers are never good enough.  Management plays favourites, feeds off drama and rewards terrible behaviour, they will constantly lie to your face.

Would not recommend this company for anyone new to the trade.
