Nobody cares about anything just show up everyday yell scream and blame everybody and anybody else for all the problems and you’ll get on just fine at Trisan,

Nobody cares and it’s just a bunch of people standing around blaming each other 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends who your are. If your a friend of the family 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Most days standing around until we are told what to do. Send around a little more and discuss. Call the boss let him change it all over the . Stand around and cry about it for the rest of the day. Pack up go home.

Decent company to work for, generally if you need a tool or item to complete a job if they don’t have it they will get it.  Friendly work crews.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
One or two people on the crew not pulling their weight and leadership not pushing them to do more.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Decent, upper management seem to appreciate the workers, solid overall.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go to work and accomplish assignments and have a few laughs.

i get to work around 8 at night and stasrt to load the f550 truck up with shovels and wheel barrows and snow blowers then the dump truck gets filled up and we head out to work on the go train station platforms clearing the snow and salting them .if we run out of salt the dump truck goes back for more salt and we get home aroiund 7 in the morning on an average day

Decent culture, decent people. Management sucks

Nothing crazy but not calm. Depending on the situation

Trisan Construction allows for as much advancement as an employee  would like.  There is very little micro-managing and quite a lot of responsibility given to the individual employee to produce and get results.

A company that strives in finding work for any employee that wants to put in a valiant effort and make a career at Trisan.

Use to work for a larger competitor. 
Trisan called me only to seek information about the competitor. During an interview you’re more likely to volunteer information to answer to your best ability. Leaving the interview I felt very violated and unimpressed that a company could behave in such a manner, worst part was it was the owner and his son. Negative work environment, gossip and drama centre workplace.

Not a bad place to start your curreer in the construction industry . From learning to lay sod landscape division or learn to shoot grades or lay gravel down to ditch work or ashpalt with the roads crews , learn to lay pipe with the sewer crews or even just basic skills of laying cones or flashing traffic their was always something different every day at Trisan

very disorganized, you never know when you are working or not. could be off for days or weeks. managment never answers their phones, txts back or never calls back when you need them. 
run around for your paycheque, and lies just to shoo you away you away for the time being. 
they control if you eat or pay rent. 
and expects you to be on call ONLY when they need you. and punishes you if you arnt available. 


This company can be a decent starting point for entry-level employees looking to gain initial experience. However, beyond that stage, growth opportunities seem quite limited. The roles can become repetitive, and there isn’t much support for career advancement. It’s a good place to begin your career, but not ideal for long-term professional development.

Started out as a site super and it took about one year to learn the contacts and suppliers that Trisan uses, After the first year i became more comfortable with the entire team.
The pay structure is fair and the owner is reasonable however has no time for excuses, Growing company with lots of opportunity for advancement and great team to work with.
