I have been sub contracting for over 20 years and sales for over 7 years .I enjoy working with my clients and other people to ensure they are looked after and the job is done to the best of my ability working sub contract is up and down so I went to work in a camp job installing floors and site set up with northern trailer for a few years then back in Kamloops in the plant work.Now back sub contacting

I have learned allot from working there, how to bookkeep and sell. I was also going to school to become a better bookkeeper. The hardest part was juggling night school and full days working. But in the long term it worked out very well. The most enjoyable part was working with great people and the experience was well worth it.

No individual growth potential and lack of communication with management. It is a small business, which is understandable for the lack of growth potential, however with the lack transparency or conversation with owner and management there was no sense of job security. Also performing well was never celebrated or acknowledged.

we always had new a different jobs on the go. keeps your mind working by always having to install a different product and gives lots of experience in all types of floors in the trade

I worked for over 9 months expecting to start a career with this company. I worked anywhere from 40 to 50 hours a week and travelled almost 2 hours to work and back everyday. I was laid off after 10 months of work and never got a call back

I enjoyed working within this company. The environment was friendly and a nice family oriented place to work. I had a base salary plus commissions which help with family life when seasons were slower than other.

I worked at this company for about 6 months, it was awesome a great summer job. Some of the workers have poor attitudes but site supervisors always help you in that regard and it is generally a positive work environment.

United floors is a very productive and positive work place. I have enjoyed working my last two summers with united floors. With my experience at United Floors I would recommend someone to work with United Floors.

Overall was good job until owner's situation changed and starting spending all the money. No benefits as company was too small. Sometimes belittles the workers.

I enjoy my whole day of work here, the hardest part of my job is the heavy lifting and pulling. I get to work the warehouse, Driving for pick up and drop off.
