The salary, working hours, and job responsibilities listed in the job description are completely different from what you’ll be told during the interview, and even more so once you start working. There is no proper training. You are expected to learn everything on your own with minimal guidance, which creates unnecessary stress and confusion. 

Meetings often involve people shouting and even crying, and this is considered normal. The company’s HR department is ineffective, ignoring issues and failing to provide health benefits even after probation. 

Managers are constantly looking for someone to blame due to pressure from the incompetent owner. Instead of solving problems, they deflect responsibility, creating a hostile and unproductive environment. 

The computers are painfully slow and old, and you will be required to use your personal phone and data for work 85% of the time, so expect to bring a charger and expand your data coverage at your own expense. 

The turnover rate is alarmingly high, and people can be fired overnight with no warning. There is zero job security. 

There is no room for professional growth here. Instead, management plays mind games to make you feel obligated to stay, solely because they struggle to retain employees. Management lacks the ability to properly root cause issues, preferring to shift the blame onto lower-ranking employees. 

This company breeds a destructive and unhealthy work environment, driven by greed, incompetence, and a complete lack of respect for its employees. 

THINK TWICE BEFORE APPLYING. There are far better opportunities out there that will respect your time, effort, and well-being.

If you are considering joining this company, be aware that job security can be unpredictable. During my time there, I noticed that staffing decisions could change quickly depending on production levels, which can be discouraging for someone starting their career.
The workplace culture could be more supportive. New employees may feel like outsiders at first, and questions or clarifications are sometimes not welcomed by management, which can create a challenging environment for learning.
Breaks are another concern. For a 9.5-hour shift, Ontario law provides a 30-minute lunch and two shorter breaks. In practice, the timing and structure of these breaks can be inconsistent. Additionally, the lunchroom and general cleanliness could use improvement.
Collaboration between QA and QC teams is limited, which can make it difficult to get guidance on certain tasks. Overall, this workplace may not be ideal for someone looking for structured growth, consistent support, or a highly collaborative environment.

One of the main issues was the lack of proper communication from management. There were constant changes in procedures and expectations, but no clear instructions or updates were provided.there was an overwhelming focus on quantity over quality. the lack of support and recognition for hard work made the job feel unappreciated. When issues arose, the blame was quickly placed on the QC team, but there was little assistance or training offered to improve performance. Management pushed for high throughput, often disregarding the importance of thorough inspections and proper testing. the lack of communication, poor equipment, unrealistic expectations, and toxic work culture made my experience as a Quality Control Technician incredibly frustrating and discouraging. It was an environment where it felt like no one truly cared about the quality or well-being of the staff.

I wouldn’t recommend this company if you’re looking for a supportive and fair workplace.

After completing the probationary period, I was expecting to receive benefits as discussed, but that never happened. Management also tends to focus only on mistakes rather than recognizing consistent good work, which makes it hard to stay motivated.

There’s a strong culture of blame, where issues are often pushed onto workers instead of being addressed properly. As someone in QC, I was required to stay active on WhatsApp to provide updates, but I had to use my own mobile data since the company didn’t provide Wi-Fi access. This meant I regularly ran out of data before the end of the month just trying to meet job expectations.

Overall, it didn’t feel like a place that supports employee growth or development. If you’re looking for a workplace that values its people and invests in them, this may not be the right fit.

This place has no respect to employees and the management is worst. QC department has the worst management. They keep hiring qc because they fire ppl as they wish! They will not treat with respect and keep blaming and putting you down for no reason. Completely unqualified managers and rude managers are spoiling this company. Pls dont work here even if you do you will get thrown out without any reason!!!!!

Biased based on community. Zero appreciation and negative respect from authorities. Zero trust on employees work and continue suspicious activity of management towards their employees during their work.

I was a recent food science graduate when I started to work there, It was an interesting place to work as a fresher with a decent pay range. But you need lots of patience for you get familiarised and the work is a bit monotonous. 

This place has no management system in place. Management is mostly biased among staff of their own culture. There is no hygiene, no work culture. Everyone here are so rude and disrespectful. 

People Easily blame you for all the mistakes that are not in your control and will scare you by giving warnings all the time. There is no professional ethics being followed here.
