Verns Pizza

In 2022 I was a delivery driver for vern's pizza on 11th street. I was told by my manager at the time that there will be no hourly wage, and the implication was I were to live day to day on tips. At first I was a little concerned about not having a wage but thought I would certainly be hired as a kitchen staff member in the short future, needless to say I was not offered a position at the company, in turn of this I quit my position immediately without notice. 

If you want a wage don't work here. 

A TYPICAL DAY OF WORK WAS TO PREPARE AND MAKE PIZZAS FOR PRESENT ORDERS AT THE TIME AND WHOLESALE ORDERS. ANSWER THE PHONES TO TAKE ORDERS. WORK THE FRONT CASHIER. AT THE END OF THE NIGHT I WAS RESPONSIBLE TO COUNT ALL THE MONEY, PREPARE THE DEPOSIT AND LOCK UP THE BUSINESS AS I WAS A KEY HOLDER.

The place is a friendly environment workplace but it can have a few changes to make everything get back on track such as hiring employees for a good reason besides they just need jobs and getting food and safety.

This has always been a good secondary job for me. The hours are good. Weekends keep me really busy and weekdays are semi but mostly slow. The management is awesome. They're not really any hard parts about this job which is nice.

Busy days were great, made the day go by fast.  Lots of food preparation, must be able to multi-task to get all duties done on time.  regular customers were great, others not so great.  working with high school kids... not so great. 

I am the Vern....worked and have made well over 100k of pizzas. Longest employee I beleive. Top notch in my books. Fast-paced environment.  Always steady work if you willing to put the time in.

Great management nice and friendly treats the staff well.Good work discounts  . Very clean place to work free lunch . Very good location 28 st and memorial dr s.e   

Great place to work, had a lot of laughs.  The work was great and easy, salary was just right for a student in high school. Learned how to make some good home made pizza.

doing delivery for verns pizza was not to bad it was just away of getting extra money for fun the only problems I had was the other driver was always wanting the drives so I didn't make much
