What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working at the company was the continuous learning opportunities it offered, allowing me to expand my knowledge as a dietitian, while being given the chance to positively impact people's lives through nutritional guidance and support.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There was a lot to learn; it can feel overwhelming.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone was very kind and supportive.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Review patients with the dietitian, and learn to do different types of assessments.

The supervisors are unprofessional and only care about their family and friends when coming on schedule. If you Are not In their Circle, you Get more minor Shifts. If You are That person who speaks their mind, you and the managers will get along because they don't like telling them the truth. I leave because of the school; then, when I email my DOC and ask when I can come back, I don't respond. So you see, It's like Politics in that workplace; if they don't like you, you get to stay if they don't, let you go. 

Volunteering and working at this place was really fun. Although working with such patients is quite tough, but you feel a different type of satisfaction in your heart when u find such people smiling and satisfied. You come across such kind of people who really need your help, your love, your care. The staff here are really very helping and very knowledge sharing people. I loved to be a part of this institution. Everyday was a mixture of stress and relief.

It's a great place to work, workers and residents are friendly, management is really nice, good atmosphere to work, but short hours and work all weekends and evenings, even that is still OK for me, I had really amazing experience and I'm thankful for this opportunity

During my practicum, I learned to work in a team environment with the different dementia patients. I learned safe transfer techniques. I feel accomplished if I see some patients gained better health because we feed them healthy foods. The hardest part of the job is when the patient is uncooperative that's when I needed the help of my preceptor.

Villa Leonardo Gambin is place where everyone is treated fairly , with respect .Managers always kind and polite to the employees. Most enjoyable part of the job is my colleagues.Always ready to work as a team and positive.

Work is fast-paced but not overwhelming,  short work hours due to pandemic but management and staff are supportive and has open communication. Candidate experience and on-boarding is smooth and easy.

Completed my PSW Practical there, it was a great experience.
It taught me alot about the field and how to improve as I become more familiar with being a Personal Support Worker.

This job is for italian speaking nurses who are okay with being paid well under a general nurses salary. The management and other staff helped feed residents though so that was great.
