I wanted to share some concerns regarding the recent developments at Wesgar over the past few months. Unfortunately, the situation has been far from ideal. Some managers and best employees have left or moved on to other opportunities, which appears to be a result of the company not treating its employees as fairly as it should!
Despite the rising cost of living and inflation in this city, most employees who have requested raises have not received adequate consideration. While we remain committed to our work and the growth of Wesgar, the current economic challenges have made it increasingly difficult to maintain the same standard of living. It is disheartening to see that our efforts and dedication are not being met with the support we need during these challenging times.
I believe it is important to address these issues openly and work toward a solution that benefits both the company and its employees. I hope we can find a way to move forward together in a way that reflects the value we bring to Wesgar.

Overall a great place to work.  Despite some of the negative reviews, there is a lot of room for advancement here, but it's up to you to work at it and prove your value to the company.  If you have no prior experience, you can't expect to start at the top.

There are a lot of different things to learn here, and a large variety of product being manufactured here.  The phasing-in of automated equipment and robotics means that things are always changing and always interesting.

The work environment is fast-paced and the work is often challenging, but at the same time it's a pretty relaxed workplace.

Advise to management-
Keep up the good work and leverage on culture, teamwork, skills and knowledge of passionate and enthusiastic people. Recognize real talent and reward them!

Be disciplined in doing annual performance reviews, invest in HR, invest in R&D, take proactive approach, take actions, be a risk taker and make mature decisions, learn to be transparent, learn from mistakes, identify employees and community as key stakeholders, identify bottlenecks and dont hesitate to get rid of it. 

$22/hr. You just load plates of zinc plated copper. 2-4 at a time. They get drilled and engraved while you deburr (up to 100 holes, twice per hole). You get M12 drills/drill presses but all deburring/chamfering tools are dull. Drill bits too so all holes mushroom. Feeds and speeds might be off too.

Every set-up takes you on a tour. Toolholders here, collets there, hss here and carbide there.

They should really just be punched but I guess Wesgar is fine with paying for the machine time.

Make sure to milk OT by sitting around and running the clock. All estimates are insanely long. Or clock in/out of a job at the very end and see your efficiency hit 5000% on the monitor.

I like to work at Wesgar as everyday is completely different.
There are always challenges and creativity needs to be used to be competitive and efficient.
It is a privilege to work and learn from upper management.
Time to time you can feel the adrenaline but you are surrounded of great people who has been with the company for many years and certainly willing to assist you the best they can.
There is always room for improvement and managers welcome any suggestions you may have.
Wesgar is well known in the industry for its quality, so you can learn the craft from some of the best people!

Literally every other week a machine breaks down and then they want you to pretend to be busy, nothing is ever clearly communicated from management, most of my time there I heard information from co workers who knew as much as me most of the time. If you love the smell of cigarettes this is the place for you everyone here smokes and if one of them helps you expect them to leave frequently for another smoke break while they go chill for 15 with there friends

Wesgar is a supportive and well-run company with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Management is approachable, and the company invests in both people and equipment, creating good opportunities to learn and grow. The work environment is respectful and collaborative, and employees work together to solve challenges and meet customer needs. Overall, Wesgar offers a stable workplace with long-term career potential.

This is a good place to work for fresh out-of-high school adults. I get along well with my co-workers.  Unfortunately, it appears that there is little to no recognition for hard work and no raises in sight. It seems that many of the managers are unable to effectively communicate with each other, making it difficult to progress in the workplace.

Get hired to one shift, and get bumped down to another. Get told one thing and have another happen. Basically don't expect any flexibility. Expect to have to do 3 people's jobs on 1 persons wage. But don't expect a wage increase. Also don't expect parking for employees to be available. Instead; expect to be threatened with being towed if you park in the "guest" sspoemptsitsemptemptymost every
