What is the best part of working at the company?
The work environment is pretty easy going and friendly, management was also very supportive. It was actually a fun experience to have work with such people.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
For me, it was stressful to manage the staff during downtime because we had mostly younger people like high school students working there and it was quite challenging to get them to do the cleaning work.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is a casual and friendly workplace. People like to be friends with each other and have a good time together while doing their jobs. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day for me was like starting out around 10 am for brunch rush, getting done the crossover from lunch to dinner service right  after the lunch rush and getting my break in that down time. Then i would stay there for the dinner service usually until 7 and clean up and go home at 7:30 or 8. I always worked 10 hour shifts

Like a multilevel marketing scam, get ready to catch garbage from those above you and get used. Corporate is a joke, and general/regional management are the sycophants leeches constantly screaming about profit margins and key proficiency indicators that have absolutely nothing to do with your position. Save yourself the therapy bills, because the benefits are garbage too.

Typically it was a hectic mis-managed restaurant that needed a lot of work
Hardest part was being expected to work 60+ hours a week on a 40 hr salary
Best part of any restaurant is the people guests and staff were both awesome individuals that helped fuel my growth

Long history of high standards in the family food service industry. Great corporate leadership and support. 
Potential for growth and advancement with good training and mentorship from senior management. Good salary, excellent benefits and bonus opportunities. 

Most of the coworkers are great to work with and feel like a family. The others make it unworkable.
Management seems to be driven by ego.
Pros are the coworkers and flexibility, cons are the bad environment, the few coworkers that ruin it & constant rush

Did the job because I needed to.

Too much politics involved between coworkers. Being yelled at is pretty common as everyone's mad all the time. Too much work pressure at times and little supervising.

The tips were good but they work/life balance is impossible as it was always short staffed so we wearnt allowed to take any time off. They always under staffed shifts and you'd get slammed and busy.

It was a fun place to work at. Stress levels can get pretty high at peak times but there was always support if needed. There were some managers who played favourites but other than that it was a good place to work at.

Overall great job, Union store so you get benefits, vacation etc.. revolving management can be an issue, but great people to work with you can make a lot of friends and it’s always busy so good money
