My day starts with screening emails and responding to the most important ones. Post that I hunt for local vendors to traing the Global Sales and Presales team at Wipro. I also go through a lot of market reports to get an understanding of the trends in the market and how the sales team can be enabled to function better. Since I am the single point of contact (SPOC) for the entire Sales team, I also have to look after the technical issues faced by the team while attempting to complete -elearning courses. Identifying training needs with respect to soft skills, domains and sales is also a major part of my daily responsibilities. I also share a daily report with my Supervisor on the progress of course completion by the sales and pre-sales team.
Time Management is one thing I have learnt in this dynamic and challenging role. Since I have to work on MS Excel a lot, I took up a 2 month professional course in Excel. It has helped me a great deal. Things that would take me an hour now just take a few minutes thereby saving me time.
The management has been very supportive ever since I joined Wipro.
I get along well with my co-workers. I have never had an argument with anyone in my team. I could always find a peaceful way out.
My role requires to help the Global sales team function well. Since the people in the sales team are all top-notches the most challenging part of my job is to have them spare some time to complete the training courses. The challenge is I need to get it complete by a certain deadline and these people do not have much time to undergo a training. Hence. it becomes very difficult at times though I have succeed almost all the times.
This role keeps me on my feet. It never gets monotonous at work. Getting a bird's eyeview of things is always pleasing. In this role I get to interact with a lot of different people and get to know what is happening in the industry.

The company in general is an enterprise organization located in India. The Call Centre in Brantford provides a relaxing environment to employees and doesn't distinguish between race or religion. With free coffee and tea and sweets from time to time, I believe this is the first Call Centre that I know and have seen treat employees this well. 

The disadvantage of this place, is low salary. Wipro pays less than the market (according to one website by -12%), 
The company located mainly in India and do most of the work remotely in terms of IT. 

The Helpdesk position is doing a minor work and troubleshooting while most of technology issues reported to head departments in India. 

We don't have a manager located on the premises of the Call Centre and we deal with him by phone or email.

We company loses a contract with its venders, most likely will move to another location where business is, in other word, no job security.

A typical day is usually filled with an influx of calls with insufficient staff to complete the goals. You will learn everything about cellular technology and functions of the devices themselves. This is covered in an extensive training program run by incredibly talented and knowledgable individuals.
   The staff that are part of taking calls are amazing. They are smart and you could not ask for a better more diverse group.
   When I started it was still fun and exciting but as the bottom line became more important and the wages were poor the job has high turn-around and high absence as people couldn't care.
   When I tried to work around schooling they were not willing to help with changing shifts as they are desperate for hours at specific times and unable to restaff for those times due to lack of staff. 
   If you want to learn about cell phones it is a great experience but do not plan on being here long as the job is stressful and low paying.

This is a family owned business that serves the community for years with the energy distribution. The company not only serves the Albertans but also helps the employee's family members with different kinds of program. One of the enjoyable program is the sons and daughters program which helps the employee's children to gain work experience from the company. Also, it helps the employee's children with Bursary for their education. 
The management team arranged a lot of team building activities to provide fun at the workplace. There were 2 management organized social event each year. One is the BBQ party in May and the other is the Christmas Party in December.
The company is pretty conservative and is not easy to come up with an investment plan to grow the company. In this way, it is hard to gain new customer and new business.

The best company to start a career in Pharmacovigilance. The process is outsourced for a US based client. The client ensures to keep the team updated with latest advancements in PV by conducting regular trainings and knowledge based tests. A typical day at Wipro depicts employees full of enthusiasm and dedication for work and an approachable management that works vigorously hard to enhance the process. The best part of the job is the collaborative approach of working and incentives offered. However, the CTC offered is low as per the industry standards. My overall experience at Wipro was very good and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who believes that a good culture shall be one of the deciding factors in choosing a job. 

FYI, the cafeteria is amazing with such wide options at nominal rates. Also, there's a carom in the process room to help you ease your day off when need be.

Wipro is great it has grandiose dreams for advancement and growth. The problem is that there is such a high turnover and pay is so low that there is nobody to support the dream. If you are a go getter and do not mind working around the clock 24/7 with nobody to turnover to and no acknowledgement of your hard work then this is the place for you. The people you work with are war torn so your colleagues are great and supportive. The problem is that they too are overworked but honestly is this the way to run a business that could actually be what it purports to customers. Unless you are such a cold strategist that you do not mind manipulating people to work non stop and love to make them feel guilty if they need time off etc then understand this is not a company with any concern for the employee.

A typical day on the job would include taking calls from Bell Mobility customers having technical issues with their cell phones, and other mobile technologies.  The job relied on employees quick assessment of customer issues using various computer programs and databases.  Management was there for help on issues that were not straight forward and for continuous improvement and training purposes.  The hardest part of the job was to solve problems quickly well at the same time providing a good customer service experiences for the customers.  The most enjoyable part of the job was helping people solve problems that have been causing them much grief and seeing how happy that made them.

I love the actual job itself! Working in customer service is fun, and just enough of a challenge to keep me motivated. The team leads really know how to actively take care of each team to ensure we are performing our best. Unfortunately, the job does not support personal life needs very well, and tends to penalize people for life circumstances that arise. Day-to-day, the schedule is uncertain, and often changes without notice to the employees. The building itself is also unclean, and myself, as well as many, many others, have been sick more than ever before. I am ashamed of how many days I have been off work sick as my immune system has gotten worse and worse, and I am catching more and more of the contagions that spread through the office like wildfire.

Best part was they were extremely flexible and great co workers until they all started leaving.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Most stressful part was the systems and programs went down way too much and only IT support was in Texas or India and only able to communicate through zoom

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Takes alot of patience as most of the colleagues had very little English which caused alot of misunderstanding during little training provided 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Due to certain circumstances I worked from home alot of the time as my role reported directly to management in India...

Wipro is a large company with offices world wide and most recently in Canada.  However they did not take the time to become familiar with the Canadian workforce or the government policies. 
Any issues with payroll take weeks and even months to be corrected.
Management has demostrated an obvious lack of knowledge of the call centre enviroment and does not respond well to the demands of the client or the concerns of the agents.  
In a few years they will be a great place to work, I'm sure, but they are still in the infant stages and as a result the atmosphere there is strained and agent moral is low.
