I was referred to Wonderbrands by one of their employees  and got hired relatively quickly. However, after that point everything was a mess. The training was extremely barebones and insufficient and mainly consistent of watching someone do a task once and then being left to figure things out on your own. I was moved around frequently to other sections that I had not been trained to work on. I received no safety training at all or any demonstration on where safety exits or evacuation areas are. It took weeks to receive a key fob to enter the building and just as long to receive my fingerprint scan so I could punch in daily. There are too many supervisors and they all treat you differently. There is no consistent plan or instruction for what you should be focusing on. The manager preaches focusing on accuracy of shipments, auditing, and keeping the work area clean instead of prioritizing speed but the supervisors will crucify you for doing just that. They never give good feedback or try to work with you on how you can do things better. I received one conversation a few weeks in about my performance and nothing after that for another month before I was suddenly called into the office one day and terminated. I was on time every day and never missed a day. I always made sure my work was accurate and area was maintained. Do yourself a favour and don’t even waste your time with this company. 

I cannot speak for all of wonderbrands and its many distribution centers, and bakeries but for the one that I worked for IT was a dysfunctional mess of a work place. They have people in management and supervisor positions that have no idea what it takes to get the job done and how it's done. Management that has no respect for its workers, overt favoritism, absurd target's that employees are measured against. The level of training given is inadequate if even trained at all. There is no appreciation for a job well done nor does management recognize hardworking employees but will easily be critical and point fingers at the first sign of errors. There is no respect shown to you but are expected to respect management wholeheartedly. There is no set structure for disciplines and if there is then it's rarely followed.

Don't waste your time here. The new owners only care about their bottom line and are out to make as much money as they can with no actual understanding of this business. They hire and fire like there is no human element, trying to acheive lowest cost. They don't care to retain those with any knowledge or skill if they can save a buck, and there is a lack of process or product knowledge, with many new employees trying to run teams and do things without proper guidance or training. Cross-dysfunctional teams. Lack of leadership lack of respect lack of honesty and alot of fear and tenseness in people who are left. Not worth the money they pay you for the stress you are under. Avoid. Do not waste your time here. 

Wonder Brands unfortunately inherited some negative aspects of Weston's operations, but have tackled these issues with their new focus on prioritizing people. To achieve this, they have created incentive plans for team members, organized frequent townhalls for questions and feedback, and established improvement committees to ensure everyone's voice is heard. I have never seen a company strive for change as they do. While no company is perfect, their intentions are clear and promising, and they really make things happen. I left due to a better offer, but Wonder Brands remains one of the best places I have ever worked.

The pay was more than acceptable and the benefits were decent 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of communication between corporate and individual bakeries. No job security, constantly hearing about "no longer with the company." Constantly expecting more from employees with the mantra to do more with less.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great food safety and quality culture at most of the bakeries. The higher up you climb, the less support you have.

A typical working day of a sanitation worker consists of cleaning floors, removing food waste in large garbage bins, cleaning industrial mixers and machines.  Be prepared for the fact that it is really hot inside the factory in the summer.  But they take care of it, there is a refrigerator with ice cream near the lunchroom and sometimes an ice cream truck comes.  The work schedule is not very convenient, in my opinion.  There are shifts from 4 am, 12 noon, 4 pm and 8 pm.  Work shifts last 8 and a half hours. 
 Most people here are very friendly and willing to help each other.

Some good people in maintenance. good team overall

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You are expected to fix things immediately you usually don’t have proper parts or support. Next to no training 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Most of the management seem to be hired based on “cultural” preferences. Can be a very dirty place to work with sanitation/production blowing flour dust around. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Can be busy or not bad depends on the day.

A typical day was physically demanding and became increasingly stressful. I learned that speaking up about issues can lead to retaliation rather than support. Management was unfair and ignored employee needs, especially health concerns. The hardest part was dealing with health issues worsened by lack of support. There was nothing enjoyable because the workplace culture was negative and unsupportive.

pretty good pay but not worth dealing with narcissiatic managers.

Coworkers who treat managers like the second coming of Christ to get ahead.

Meetings everyday sometimes meetings twice a day due to micro management issues.

Meetings, then forfilling some requests then more meetings.

There is no good part in this company 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is no plane to do anything but they ask for result. You have no tools but you have to give them results. Also, your teammates and boss don’t support you at all

Toxic, lake communication, not friendly

Just you have to be aware nobody push you under the bus
