working at zarkys you will serve customers and have to learn all the different meats and code, as well as learn to use slicers. close to the end of the night you have to take apart all equipment and clean as well as wrap all meats and salads, must be able to be on your feet all day. pros good work environment fun people, cons not many hours as part time and close early. the most enjoyable part wasthe learning experience, it is a good place for a first job

I had always thought them a pretty decent place to work until the last year, they left me sitting at home waiting and expecting work for a full year and then just let me go without even letting me know about it. Clearly, I didn't need the job at the time but that really wasn't the point. 

You are not treated fairly. Your hours are not consistent and the possibility for wage increase is not there. Management is extremely rude and the environment is beyond toxic. Gave so much to them only to be screwed over when they hired new full-timers and handed over my hours. I would NOT recommend working here to anyone.

I enjoyed the job until they expected one person to do the work of three.The management favored their children.....so you an guess how that went.The customers were amazing and some of women in the pasta section are amazing. I learned a few new recipes.

co-worker are great people to work with. 
motivated, physically fit, multi-task love it, communication with management is weak, should  have some group meeting to let workers know how things are doing, like once a month. women are unpaid from the guys.

There is lack of training, you either get it from the beginning or your out, not a living wage but 9 hour shifts. 
No room for errors while training, don’t give you much of a chance to learn the job. 


Terrible management mangers didn’t care about hard work only if the job got done they don’t take any injury seriously there store manager is really rude and has already hurt people at the job

Management plays favourites. You get a low employee discount. Hard work is not acknowledged. The management does not give any incentive to want to work harder. The pay is minimal. 

Zarky's was fun and fast. I learned how to make pizza from scratch. Was able to do what I loved and be around food, serving customers. There was always something to do which I liked.
