Cadets Canada was an excellent employer for anybody that follows rules and behaves in a professional manner. Unfortunately, there are some errors in the chain of command. Inferior officers believed that they had opinions when a superior officer spoke. Unfortunately, in a militaristic setting, that is very untrue. Some officers need attitude changes for the organization to operate at maximum efficiency.

Tuesdays only 
6:30 - 9:00
you show up attendance is taken and you have 3 lesson periods organised by how many years you have been in the cadet program
 lessons run till about 8 which you get a break from around 8 to 8:30
one final lesson period and then you are dismissed to go home around 9-9:15

Wednesday is optional training 

some weekend are slotted for optional training or field training exercises

a typical day at work would entail waking up, having breakfast, parade, 4 training periods, lunch, 4 more training periods, dinner, evenings.

The pay during the summer is amazing for students. You live in the nations capital and food is pretty good. The only thing i dont like about the job is the hours and supervisors. Sometimes they make you work long hours and dont really care for your overall well being.

As a staff cadet, my skills as a leader and manager were put to the test and built upon. While working as a staff cadet I learned how to better deal with small and large scale personnel issues.

Depending on your location, management can be poor and your coworkers may have little to no work ethic, but if you're willing to put in work, it becomes fun.

I was part of a program called cadet. In cadets you're trained as if you're part of the military. Early on I was placed into a position of command. I would watch over and teach a small squadron of 10 others.

A wonderful place to work. A good place to learn teaching skills and leadership skills. The officers are very friendly and always willing to help. It can be stressful at times but the outcome is worth it

its a amazing opportunity to learn and  develop critical life skills  and develops a vary well rounded way of thinking and is a bunch of fun to do so I suggest it.

very enjoyable work experience, working with a variety of different ranking members within cadets and the Canadian armed forces. it was was rewarding being a part of the team
