I have learned about product information, management, distribution, product application and so much more in only a couple of months. I work under the Cosmetics Manager, who is absolutely amazing at her job. She is a master in knowledge of everything from products, companies and customers, to being a hands on leader and teacher. I have worked with the other cosmetics sales associates and merchandisers for the whole store. My experience so far has been amazing. All of my co-workers were welcoming from day one, and have no problem giving me a hand. My manager has been extremely flexible with my school schedule and she has been so impressed with my work that I have been offered a job, but unfortunately I will not be living in Windsor for much longer.

I normally bring in supplies and make sure the workplace is neat and organized. I bring the necessary material to my supervisors and other coworkers to the work cite. At the end of my work term, I had to demonstrate my skills through creating a circuit board. They taught me the fundamentals for how circuits, wiring, and ballasts work and I needed to create a two-way switch using the information they taught me. Overall, the workplace was a very fun and relaxing place as my supervisors were very friendly and helpful. The hardest part of the job was to finish my project efficiently and effectively. I had to try to minimize the cost of the project and at the same time, make the project efficient. I had the most fun when I was communicating with my supervisors as they were really friendly.

This was a co-operative education program that I was in back in highschool. A typical day at co-op was greeting patients, learning about new patient injuries, icing patients, learning new exercises with patients, asking patients about how their progress is with their injuries. The management was phenomenal and I loved the work environment. Walking into work everyday was always up beat and positive. The hardest part of the job was taking care of multiple patients at once. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with new patients and regular patients everyday, learning about new injuries, working with regular staff members everyday, and keeping busy all day.

I completed my co-op education at a special needs program organization. It required many assets in communicating and building relationships with the staff and clients. It was fun because they just put a smile on your face, but there were some hard times where the clients would misbehave. Although the hard times occured, the staff would always work as a team to solve the problem. I learned to be more patient in this placement and just simply be happy for everything we've got. Overall it was an AMAZING experience.

I really enjoyed co-op because it gave me real life work experience.

Co-op also made me more comfortable in a workplace environment.  
On a regular day I would diagnose automotive related problems such as: brake jobs, oil changes, putting new tires on new rims.
I learned so much so quickly while at co-op, I learn very quickly and everyday there was something new to do

I had done my cooperative education at ABC Day Nursery in both the Toddler and Junior room supervising children of ages 1-3. The environment was at times hectic also a very valuable experience leading me towards my choice of career path. Both the staff and children were very welcoming making me feel right at home. The hardest part of the job would be that some children acted up and were stressful to handle, however I do enjoy working with kids and it was most definitely worth it at the end of the day.

Even though it felt like working for two different companies it was ultimately very enjoyable and a great learning experience. I learned to be more flexible and dynamics of working in a large team. The IT structure is highly divided and specialized. Unlike my other work places I've never had to interact with these other IT groups for assistance or related work tickets. It was definitely an eye opener.

The supervisor(s) and staff help you learn at your pace. The management has a nurturing approach to its volunteers, students, staff and residents. There is lot of opportunity to participate in inter-disciplinary meetings. The supervisors develop your leadership skills.

Its a great place to work. You get to meet great people, such as other facilitators and also the students. You learn how to modify assignments and tests, and assist and tutor your students in the program, but also in classes. You also screen and interview potential students to see if they fit the criteria for the program. Overall, its a great place to work.

Camerons is a great starting job for students. the environment is great and the people you get to work with are very nice. the owners and managers make you feel like you are part of the family. it is a demanding job, you can't be afraid to get down and dirty. you learn how to maintain the fields, the go kart tracks, and how to make customers time there, more enjoyable.
