Work life balance management gives is insane. They are so relaxed and trusting, as long as you get your work done they won't hound you. The work life can range from hectic to dead from week to week based on clients needs. 

Management cares, while they may not remind you on a daily basis they give ample time off and try to implement different items to improve morale. I think this company has gone through some growing pains but now has a better idea what can make ppl happy. And absolutely tries to make it happen. 

Main concern I would say is management is just too busy. It's not uncommon not to see them for weeks at a time. And when you do there is  a line up of people wanting their attention. Team mates are the best support. However dont tell people they can come to management but never even be around.

Excellent work culture that is a good mix of concentrated work and light hearted fun. 
Diversity is valued and the team reflects this, cultural events are recognized and celebrated. 
Regular corporate events and celebration of milestones- birthdays, work anniversaries etc.  little things like this really make you feel appreciated. 
Work/life balance is encouraged with a hybrid work model.  The extended days to boost long weekends are a great perk too.

Owners are supportive, kind and genuinely want employees to succeed. 



Management is good at the technical work that keeps their clients happy, but is abysmal when it comes to employee hiring and retention. This company has seen 100%+ turnover over the past couple of years, has hired and fired more than one person on their first day and, rather than ask its employees what could be done to address the problem, rug sweeps and carries on like nothing's wrong.

Employees live in daily fear they'll be next on the chopping block and well-respected recruiters shake their heads at the mention of the company's name. You would do well to follow their example and stay away!

It’s a feel-like-home and layback work environment, but with inefficient management style that could suddenly get tough on staff for any reason, mostly because the management is not diligent enough to prevent the work problems from occurring.

Two partners with a great focus on profits, on the account of everything else, although they always try to shut the employees up with the constant food gatherings and activities. But soon the staff figure that out and start looking to resign.

I have been working here for 3 months and I'm absolutely loving it.  Everyone is so friendly and helpful.  It's a real team environment.  It’s a fun place to work with occasional all employee lunches, employee events, celebrations of work anniversaries and the like.  The owners are extremely approachable, are good listeners and genuinely care for the employees.
They say "the grass is never greener…" but so far the grass couldn't be any greener for me.

I've been working at Numbercrunch for a little over 2 years now. I've loved working at NC and can't see myself working anywhere else!
Management encourages a healthy work/life balance, and constantly checks in to see how we are doing and if any support is required. 
Management also encourages staff and helps them reach their professional goals. 
Workplace culture is amazing. Staff works great together without any "office drama".  


Bookkeepers receive support from their managers and CFOs.  Hybrid office environment.  Friendly staff. Bookkeepers work together on one side of the building and are very supportive of one another.  You are encouraged to ask questions.  

Very supportive leadership team which values and recognizes hard work and diversity.

Fair compensation, a focus on work-life balance and social events which emphasize fun at work make this an awesome company to work for.

Employees are made to feel appreciated and everyone is supportive of one another.  Management truly wants everyone to succeed.

Management just wants a bunch of low level bookkeeper's that they can overload with clients and make as much money as possible off of without providing raises or chances for development. Bad screening process so very easy to get a job, but high turnover rates mean you might not last the month.
