Independent contractor and home office means I am my own manager.

Finding contracts on my own. Time management can be challenging with multiple contracts.

Excellent. I work for myself.

Begin at 9 am and begin with answering emails. Student inquiries are important to answer as early as possible. Then the rest of the day is marking assignments, maybe a meeting with colleagues or students, and course design.

I have already answered this. The support of the administrative staff and lesson plans left by the teachers

The misbehavior of students and the district not recognizing that students with behavior and mental health issues should not be in a regular class.

It depends on the assigned school and the support of the staff.

I teach students and monitor behavior at recess.

I was a 1-man company.  I worked with clients,  not my own employees.

Sometimes it would have helped to have an assistant; but it was not practical in my business model.

Happy with my employment here in the past and would recommend to others. Not a lot of opportunities for moving up though so there is that issue but overall okay 

Freedom to do whatever but hard to figure out how to make money and stability is a question if you don't do something that will be a reliable income.
