What is the best part of working at the company?
My co- workers were always very nice. Management always treated us with respect including the store managers. I always enjoyed preparing food and working with my hands so it was a total satisfyingly experience.

In general things went quite smoothly. The only time that we could encounter some stress would when we were short staff due to illness.

It was electrifying! Always busy with multiple tasks but also great teamwork communication and customer appreciation.

I have so much enjoyment that I don’t feel tired whilst I’m on my feet in action. But as soon as my day is done and I start decompressing, I can feel my days worth.

I started a new job recently, and it’s been okay, I suppose. It’s an entry-level position, so I didn’t expect it to be incredible or life-changing. The work is decent, with routine tasks that keep me busy but aren’t particularly thrilling. My coworkers are friendly enough, though I’m still getting to know them. The pay is standard for a starting role—nothing to write home about, but it covers the bills. The office environment is fine, though it lacks the spark or excitement I’d hoped for in a new job. I’m learning the ropes, which is good, but there’s not much room for creativity or growth yet. It feels like a stepping stone, a place to gain experience before moving on to something more engaging. For now, I’m sticking with it, hoping it’ll lead to better opportunities down the road. It’s not amazing, but it’s a start.

Working as a cashier at this grocery store has been a solid experience overall. Most coworkers are supportive and willing to jump in when lines get long, which makes busy hours more manageable. Management sets clear expectations around speed, accuracy, and customer service, and the schedule is usually posted in advance.

That said, the job can be stressful during rushes and holidays, and standing for long periods can get tiring. Some customer interactions can be challenging, and price matching can be time-consuming and complicated, especially when it’s busy. Still, it’s a good role for building customer service skills and learning to stay calm under pressure. Overall, it’s a reliable job with a friendly atmosphere and opportunities to improve and move up.

A typical day includes helping customers, recommending products, keeping the area clean and organized, and working with my team to meet daily goals.

Low standards for everything. Poor management, misleading hiring, toxic employee-management culture. Although some coworkers in some areas were nice to work with, the vast majority 90% are the lowest in social and employee skills. Pay is bare minimum wage and not enough hours. When they give you more hours, you are still classified as part time and they keep any full time hrs to minimum so they don't pay you benefits as full time. supervisors are so unskilled and aggressive. Three different coworkers told me that the ones working there for over 20+ years get let go as soon as they are close to retirement so as to not pay them pension! Stay away from Loblaws!!

The coworkers. Interaction with employees and customers. Helping people find what they need. Location is perfect for where I live

Weekends can get a bit busy and overwhelming sometimes in the warm weather months but not terrible.

Friendly and accommodating with hours and requests for time off.

Clean up anything not supposed to be in area and do returns. Also put any new stock on shelves and assist any customers inquiries

One of the most significant positives at Superstore is the supportive atmosphere. My colleagues are incredibly friendly and always willing to lend a hand. The management team is approachable and genuinely cares about employee well-being. It’s easy to see that they prioritize a positive work culture, which makes coming to work enjoyable.

worked here for a few years, managment was pretty bad with them constantly giving employees attitude and being disrespectful. very dismal and depressing place to work though. For a minimum wage job it was decent though. It was very laid back and pretty relaxed, when it wasnt busy which was more often then not, you could just sit around and do whatever. I left because i just couldnt handle doing the exact same thing every single day, there was never any oppurtunities do something different. As well as all the supervisors that were super chill left. 

Work was good employees were fun and mostly friendly. On nights there was a disconnect from management which was a good thing helped for more work to get done. Management like to conflict with each other. If a department manager wanted you to do x an asm might want y then the store manager might rip you for not doing a-z in an 8 hour shift with no understanding of how much would physically need to be done. 

The pay is bad, you'd be busy and asked to do more then your job description, you could be training people even as a part timer and you don't get a pay increase, you would have to handle the phones, pick products for customers, be quick and you would often times be asked or required to bring the department phone with you while you are taking your "break" if a customer is in the bay your break is done and you'd have to head back to the department to help said customer, management is terrible
