By far the worst management I've ever seen that's not only unsympathetic to serious health concerns but insults and undermines its workers. This place preaches about keeping a positive mindset and working as a team but never follows up and actively does the opposite. You're given too little to do your job yet you're expected to go above and beyond with no support. If you can't do it, it's because you were the problem and not because you were given nothing. You will be fired if the management doesn't like you and not because you can't do your job correctly. This place offers no privacy between coworkers and anything you say or do will be told to someone else, regardless of human courtesy. Workplace rules will change on a whim that you're given no time to prepare and if you have extending circumstances, you're let go. 

Avoid this place at all costs. The pay is not worth it. If you want to work here, stay for the first two weeks then leave. 

The only limitation here at telMAX is yourself, the room for growth and Knowledge learned from here will stick forever, if your hungry to succeed and want to learn.  

The culture here is friendly & stable and of all the working people here treat each other as Family and along very well, I have been here quite some time and yet to see a dispute between Employees and/or Management.

The jobs here come with their challenges but the difference here at telMAX compared to Big Corporations is it's work-related, not people's egos, attitudes or politics, thus allows you to focus on your tasks at hand. There is no micro-management here or babysitting, if you can't perform here on your own accord and take responsibility & accountability serious, telMAX is not for you, and this is coming from an Employee not someone from Management. 

Don't be afraid to apply, it doesn't hurt to try and who knows you might become an great asset here and join a winning team (Operations).

the company is willing to give you a chance even if you don't have experience in sales allowing you to get your foot in the door, but besides that there's not too much else that's good. its strictly door to door sales. if your hired as full time, they'll hire you saying its Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, but its truly 6 days a week - Monday to Saturday, they'll give you a couple half days but you don't get a choice on what day of the week those are, also mandatory 1hr lunch break so that they can have you work 6 days a week but stay under 40 working hours. schedule changes a lot, sometimes it was only a couple days notice of a schedule change. the town/customers complains frequently about how aggressive the sales reps are which is due to the pressure management puts on the outside sales reps. really bad micromanaging, and high pressure sales atmosphere. 

As a sales Rep

I would talk to people on a daily basis to help them get a better internet service provider.  The job is fun as I enjoy taking to people on a daily basis and know helping people save money , get a better value or solve some of their issues with their current internet service provider.

The pay was great as I had an opportunity to sell and make ex gf ta commission with every door I spoke to on a daily basis.

If anyone wants to build the skill in sales and just people skills in general I would recommend working at Telmax as a dsr.

telMAX is a vibrant little company that's trying to break through the duopoly of the internet industry. If you like to work hard and get rewarded and have some serious opportunities for growth, then this is the place to be. Like all companies, it has its ups and downs, but if you are motivated, know how to work smart, and want to continually learn and grow then this is the place for you!

If you are looking to coast, take it easy, and just collect a paycheque, this place is definitely not it. 

As telMAX is constantly growing, there are always new positions and opportunities. There is a positive company culture and lots of collaboration whether through virtual or physical meetings. Excited to be a part of the future growth and success of the company.

This is a great place to work at. Being part of the finance team is wonderful as we are a small team within this quickly growing company their are a lot of opportunities to grow internally. Getting in on the ground floor is truly special, being able to learn lots and really have your presence noticed and valued. 

If you are energized by a high-energy and quick-paced work environment, this is the place for you. This is a rapidly growing company, with a diverse workforce that does not only talk about teamwork, they live and breathe it with colleagues and management always willing to lend a helping hand, share expertise, and collaborate.   

if your new in the telecommunications industry it is a decent place to start out and learn the ropes! there are a few people that are great to work with and learn from!

Recognizes and respects work well done.  Startup company that is working on becoming first class internet provider.  Executive team are approachable and appreciate input.
