productive and a fun workplace with a table tennis
I learned a lot, include how to work with all different types of people. The job also teaches me to communicate with all my co-workers. The job also let me look the world in a different way than I used to do before I got a job.
Working in A&W is a privilage.
Busy, productive and happy with my co workers,
Management appreciate my work, my sacrifices and my hard work.
I learned lot in A&W
Hardest part of my job when I am run out of staff and needs to call an available staff.
I am very much enjoy and happy working in A&W during boxing day although its really really busy but our sales is too big x 10 in our regular day.
Consif its busy they gave us long hours
Happy and positive environment
Everybody treats one another like family. Despite the stigma of working in fast food, the shifts are always fun and enjoyable. Great part-time job....
ProsFrequent raises and yearly bonus
ConsLots of standing
I would usually only work for 3 hours a day and maybe 3 days a week if i was lucky. i learned how to use a cash register. The management was okay they tryed to save more money other than caring about customer service. the co-workers were nice. worst part of the job was people yelling at you because the cooks messed up there order. the best part of the job was 40% off food.
Fun place to Work
Its a fun place to work when the atmosphere is decent. Not all locations are the same. Sometimes the management can be a bit unwilling to to listen to those below them or just think that what they say goes.
A well organized and efficient team
Overall, with being at A&W there have been some ups and downs. There is a bit of bad communication between employees and management. This mix up can be stressful but also can be fixed easily. The staff come together as a family and are able to fix every problem a customer has. Each individual staff member benefits the workplace.
ConsStaff calling in

Disappointing compared to 20 yrs ago
A&w used to be the best company to work for. All thru HS I worked there and they my 20's able to transfer to accommodate life/school...good advancement, training... Pay...morale. NO MORE.
lost ALL INTEGRITY... Sheep farm immigration platform, unfair to local/ young workers/ poor training .Relies on online training traini
ProsNot much. Wont starve i guess
ConsManagement is lazy and rude. Unfair to local workers. Poor atmosphere

I like most of my coworkers and customers. The higher ups could be a little more decisive and act on things right away instead of leaving things till it's so bad others are made to go above them, or quit.
Hardest thing is calming cranky customers. the best thing is my regular customers.
