Corporate Instructor/Support Analyst - Information Services department
The information services division at Sunnybrook is not in good condition. The administration is bad, and they are very disorganized. The management is subpar.
The pay and benefits in the information services division are awful, as well.
Management needs to do a better job to improve the situation. Management in information services division are not that responsive though. Their ways are not working.

Bad management , not supportive
Worked there for 4 years in a job a loved. Turns out the person doing the best job is the one who gets let go and the person doing a poor job, always late, poor communicator gets to keep theirs. Management wasnt supportive of concerns of a person with over 20 years experience over a inexperienced, younger person who always complains. Isnt it about getting the work done properly.
Underhanded HR department who makes these terrible choices without informing the direct supervisor of the workers. People left in a lurch. Makes the whole department look bad, concerned about quality of research data coming out of a World Class hospital!!!
Everyone left on edge for their jobs. I was proud to work there until this happened
Prosgym. reasonable parking
Constraffic chaos at times, non supportive manager, underqualified managers

Great learning experince
I did my clinical placement at Sunnybrook Hospital. I was exposed to a few different units and it was a great learning experience. It was enjoyable in the sense that I was exposed to a variety of cases and with this also presented a few new challenges.
Medical Office Assistant | Toronto, ON | Apr. 30, 2019
A typical day at work.
I work in a very busy outpatient stroke clinic. There's always work to be done and phone calls to be made. :I enjoy working here very much. This job has taught me a lot. Would recommend 10/10.
ProsFree lunches, great staff

Sunnybrook is one of the leading hospitals in Toronto and the GTA, providing many health services. Benefits are good but not all on par with the Univeristy health network.

Incredible Programs for Care
Since working at Sunnybrook I have learnt a lot more about their programs offered to patients. It has helped me to assist patients in making other decisions on how to manage their care at Sunnybrook.
ProsWorking with innovative dedicated physicians
