Its a very fast paced job
Zara is a great company but doesnt offer alot of benefits, its alot of customer service and it requires everything from you. A normal day will start with finishing the overload and truck and cas

Basic Retail Position
It is a good starter job; you get an idea of how retail works and how customer service works. There are minimal to no benefits aside from store discounts; would recommend to those who have no experience in retail.

Great place to work as a student!
Zara was a great place for me as a student. The hours were flexible. Great work incentive. However management was shaky at times. As long as you understand how unpredictable retail can be, it all starts to make sense.

Decent for entry-position
It is a fun corporate culture, but daily tasks do get repetitive and sometimes management does slip up. But if you can get pass those two major things, working there is a breeze.

Decent place to work at.
A typical day at ZARA was a constant routine of replenishing, maintaining, cashing out customers, and facilitating customers with solutions if there had been any issues.
Management was decent as my direct manager did the best he could to work around employees' school schedule and requested days off.
Most difficult part of the job was the customer service issues as there were many due to the large amount of continual traffic within the store. Customers were not very understanding for the most part.
The most enjoyable part of ZARA was that the store felt like a huge family, and the bond that you create with customers is sweet.
ProsBenefits, full time hours
ConsBreaks are not paid.

Management has no idea what they're doing.
Managers forget to put half the staff on the schedule, no one ever answers the phone and just overall unprofessional. Avoid Yorkdale location!

Did not enjoy this job.
I found the company not very good to work for. The management was very disorganized and did not seem to know what they were doing.

Great work for a part time job with awesome colleagues
I was working in Zara for almost 2 years as a part time job. My experience there was great as i had very nice colleagues and managers. Usually i had 8 hours shifts before or after my classes at university, or i had shifts during weekends. management was very nice and helpful during training and even after that. the most enjoyable part of my job was socializing with costumers and having co-workers at an age range close to mine.
Conshealth care, minimum wage
