I worked for 1courier in 2 different stints as a driver had to leave due to medical reasons. From day one the process and training although not one on one was definitely an easy transition and I was provided with all the tools and coaching that was needed to meet and excel at this position. The routes always got better and better once you learn how to prioritize your runs. The app and software provided by 1courier allowed you to plan your day not only to maximize your time but once you get the hang of how the orders are assigned you were given  full autonomy to maximize your income as well. One of the best things about this company is that the numerous dispatchers were always available to deal with any situation that arose whether it be customer information or better ways to do the route any and all problems were addressed quickly. In a face paced environment where the speed and accuracy of my performance were related to the rate at which I made money having the dispatch team available to me was the main reason I was able to succeed! Opportunity was available everyday to be able to make more cash as long as I was able to handle the increase in courier load. The customers that we dealt with everyday are very easy to deal with and genuinely become regulars that made my day easier and some you even look forward to seeing on a daily basis! I always felt appreciated and valued. You are able to for the most part make your own schedule within reason and they are always able to work with you to accommodate you and your needs as they arose on a personal balance of work and home life! 

A typical day involves sorting parcels, planning delivery routes, and ensuring packages are delivered safely and on time. I have learned valuable skills such as time management, route planning, and customer service. Management is supportive and focuses on keeping operations running smoothly. The workplace culture is fast-paced but friendly, with teamwork playing an important role. The hardest part of the job is managing heavy workloads and tight delivery schedules. The most enjoyable part is being on the road, meeting customers, and successfully completing the day’s deliveries.

It’s your vehicle, your gas (1.65) per litre.  300 km driving per day on your vehicle at 1.65 you will not make any money in the end.  The company will never have your back always takes the school’s boards side.   They call you at home on your time to see if they can fix their errors of the day.   If you can swallow it if garbage the money isn’t to bad if you have something that is good on fuel but the driving especially in the winter the routes you will be doing. Collingwwod, Wasaga beach,  Orillia , Bradford.  Be careful before you take this job it’s not for everyone try and find something else first if you can. 

They use their drivers to make money while giving them nothing in return. They will have you delivering packages 50km away with the value of $13 and pay you 70% of that. While they charge their customers according to the distance. Their work is shady the values and distances don’t add up. Don’t waste your time with them you will only lose on fuel and make nothing.

it's a stressful job and I don't recommend it to anyone. The founders of the company invented a system that the company won and the employees did not. I do not recommend it to anyone. This company should be avoided. In addition, they do not give the necessary value to their employees with an unprofessional working style.

The dispatchers really are the best they make your work so much easier when ever you need them they answer they always have your back .

The boss is amazing he always appreciates the good work you make and he always gives bounces and extra for people who works hard

It feels good when your boss appreciate your work and help 



Very high expectations are projected in term of work and earnings at the interview ,but in reality nothing materialize. 
Not enough deliveries, need to drive a lot for low payments. 

Great company. Must give it a try. Employer is very understanding. Pay is quite competitive. You must use your own vehicle, you get paid after considering that you use your own gas. Overall my personal experience is very good.
