-Can get really busy at times and potential to make good money working overtime. 
-Warehouse manager is great and easy to talk to
-Day to day requirements can be a little overwhelming at times, but there is lots of opportunity if you are a good positive worker
-hardest part of the job is the repetitiveness of picking certain products
-enjoyable part would be great coworkers and day go's quickly if you stay on task


It was a great enjoyable place to work while the Thomson family was in charge. When they had to step back and and let other people lead due to situations out of their control, the experience became miserable. Unkept promises, lies, competition but not in a good way... I do not recommend working there. This was in 2015,things might have changed. I hope so as prior to certain unfortunate events, it was truly a great place to work with incredible management. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
People are the best part they help get the job do e.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The big boss pushing orders through and not caring about anything else but the orders.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It lacks culture and the environment is stressful and not very rewarding.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You start a typical day with orders and making sure all your work gets done.

Growing business with more than average employee tenure. Very good opportunity to learn and grow. Quiet place to be focus if you like to work independently or as a part of a team.

A day included testing metal flex hose and make exhaust bellows. I learn multiple different skills in terms of machines and patience. Management was awesome very kind but made sure work got done. My co workers were like family while i worked there. The hardest part of my job is waiting for the work to reach my table. The most enjoyable part is when i was doing work and everybody was joking around having fun while working

There are some great people working there and they might have a smile on their face but once you get to know these people and the company, you understand it is all a front. Management will use and abuse you during regular hours and even more on OT or call ins. Make sure you know your rights as a worker because if you don't they will prey on that weakness.

This was a very good place to work with good work flow.  It was easy to learn about all of the different types of gaskets, valves, and seals, and all the other products that were there because it was all hands on. i also liked that the schedule was 8-5 Monday through Friday, although i wouldn't mind working longer hours or different hours.

Loved working here. There is always room for advancement if you work hard and stand out. The company is a family that is down to earth and they treat everyone with respect when you earn it. Just an overall great company to work for.

I really enjoyed working at A.R. Thomson. The People there are great to work with.
Always kept busy with order requests sent in from outside sales reps.
Unfortunately the cut backs prevented me from continuing my service for this Company.

Not a great experience. 10 different people telling you 10 different things. Help and support is extremely find. Management thinks you have compete knowledge of the industry after a month and talks down you when you don’t. Management is shady at best.
