Interacting with patients and some of the clinic staff. Good location and parking

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Pretty much everything. It is an extremely stressful job. Repetitive and unnecessary work. Interference from Head Office. Too many people telling you how to do things. Being watched on camera.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is very stressful, unorganized and chaotic. I am far from being racist but the company consists mostly of one specific athnicity.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long, stressful and confusing. You will NEVER get the days work done in that day. You are always playing catch up.

I took this job as a new grad and it was a poor way to be introduced into the field. The hiring manager never confirmed anything in regards to start date and onboarding. From the start it was a confusing process. The job itself was very lackluster and dull. It did not allow for autonomy for exercise prescription even though that was discussed. The job was mostly administrative and putting patients onto the modalities. A huge waste of your education here. Not only that, management was poor and would blame their employees for something that was never in staff training. Super weird. I left after having enough and did so immediately without bothering with a two weeks notice. 

Extreme amount of employee turnover. As a PTA/Front Desk management and head office drills you with meaningless trackers and tasks meant to micromanage you every move. As a PTA they make it impossible to work effectively and expect you to do everything with little pay. At head office, all rooms are tightly recorded with cameras. The moment you agree to a task outside of your position they will constantly make you do that tasks. If you are naive enough, they will even make you do their personal tasks and works for free?!?! They have fired amazing employees over personal issues. If you are a chiro/physio/RMT it is a decent place to work, if you are anything else, good luck!!!

This is the most disorganized and toxic place I have ever worked. They are racist and stick to their own culture and anyone outside of that culture is harassed and treated poorly. In the time that I worked there, I’ve seen 11 people quit and 9 of those people filed claims against them. For the sake of your sanity, look elsewhere for work. They will try and sell you this amazing job but you will end up in tears.

I have worked at Activa Clinics for 7 years. The company continues to evolve and grow to stay ahead of the industry curve. In a competitive market Activa Clinics continues to build on long term initiatives for long term success with its team members and patients such as customer service and procedures. Each day brings new challenges with the opportunity to learn and grow both professionally and personally.

Management here is so disorganized they can even tell you take their laundry home or work with moving clinic they just tell you have to do it no choice.

Don't take this job you will come out depressed with high blood pressure and anxiety disorders.

Honest to god, I was ready to walk out after the second day of work.  However I stayed and made things work and it was the best decision of my life, started off as a front office administrator and today am the Clinic Manager.  Upper management and owners are amazing to work with and deal with.  Extremely pleasant and friendly environment, treats you to lunch at least 2-3 times per week. 

One of the best places I have ever worked in my career. They treat all employees as family. The management is the most understanding and appreciative. They appreciate your work and want to see you succeed. There are people from all cultures and religions and everyone is happy. If I didn’t have to go back to school I never would have left. I have learned so much working there♥️

Management sucks. And their staff at head office harass the clinic staff, they expect you to be at the beck and call and are toxic. In clinic staff were great and supportive. Training was done by management going over a list of tasks and showing the just of it and expecting you to just learn and know how to automatically do the job.
