ADT Protectron

was a good place to work till adt bought protectron .

since the acquisition , major bad decisions are been made , employee and customer care took a back seat  to everything else .

no work balance with families , they change your schedule when they want even a day ahead of time 

in the last year  cut benefits less of them ,, cut our lunch hour , now its unpaid for ,, micro manage like a kindergarden ,, major lack of respect toward their employees

but on the good side  made excellent friends and coworker , learn a lot about dispatchiung and customer care , working with software, gain some experience  that was very good for me , love the job i was doing a lot , just the place in the last 2 years since the acquisition as become more of a nightmare then a job ,, 

but in the ottawa office , managers and staff excellent people , very good , comprehensible people , human people , very hard workers  and friendly ,,

Working at a call centre is never fantastic and just like any job there are ups and downs. Unfortunately there were constant changes to procedures, policies and other centrals being closed without anyone properly going through it which left a lot of work and stress on the agents and the Team Manager. For instance, they closed down a central in Montreal giving 2 days notice leaving me and my colleague alone uncovered for breaks for several hours during a 10 hour shift. 

The people I worked with were absolutely fantastic but wasn't very organized.

Short stint with this company, wasn't happy with the overall pay that was given over the months that didn't add up to what we should have been making. had to make concessions on products that came out of out pays. 
Thus had to do double sales to make what I had wanted to achieve.

Good Company, nice work schedule, advancement trainings sometimes lacking. Well placed and somewhat pleasant work environment. All depending what position is occupied experience can be pleasurable.

Good environment to work. Not very stressful.
Supervisors are nice and supportive. No unnecessary pressure. Over the phone you dont get rude people as you are mst of the time checking well on them.

Room for advancement and stable shift. Friendly coworkers and provides uniforms and licensing. Training provided. As a stationary Guard there was lots to do and very accepting. 

Bad pay, mean management, no base pay and door to door in areas that have been knocked over and over and over and over again. 1/10 wouldn't work again
