Heads need to roll. Managment is a joke, safety reps outright lie to your face on site and in orientation.  Saftey is an inconvieinience they wont have. Unless of course they can use their policcies to hold above your head. Superintendants only care about thier bonuses. Nepitism rules the day here. Run. Run for your life. You will never have rest, your days off exist only for the purpose of  getting you switched from night shift to day shift. 
Almost every safetey code or regualtuon is broken daily. This is the wildwest of jobsites.  A ratrace.  I get it though.. Managment ought to hold on tight because when this job is done theyre trackrecord will forever be ruined, and any decent company will take one  look at thier resume and toss it.  Congratualations. This project is a manifestation of everything wrong with our societey . Employee turnover is extremely high. 

A typical day at work was completely unorganized jumping from one task to the next while completing nothing
I learned that a strong work ethic and skills will get you nowhere with afde just make friends with management
Management is terrible. No organization or forthought and even worse people skills. Employees are 100% disposable.
Workplace culture is just sad nobody wants to be there. Safety culture is a joke and only matters on paper
The hardest part of the job is doing your task the hardest way possible twice and then having to fix it a 3rd time.
The most enjoyable part of the job is leaving after your 2 week rotation.

Finding a work/life balance nearly impossible when you rotate day shift to nights... Not healthy

Too large a company to build strong culture outside your team or section of the project.

This was an exciting job.  It was fast paced enough that 14 days go by quickly.  The camp is first class and the people are great.  The management team is continuously striving to make the culture more accessible.

Every company and job have their own ups and downs, pros and cons. This is only based on my personal opinion and should not affect others point of view of the company. Overall it's an OK Job and work environment. 

Worst place I’ve ever worked. Company is a joke . Production overrules safety. No communication between supervisors and engineers no crossover notes shared between day and night shift

I was able to pick up a few more skills to put on the resume in my few years working on the dam. A lot of great people working down there as well, which made the slower days bearable. Work/life balance was great, for a local. Home every single night, guaranteed hours/ shift.

Good company a safe work environment. Nice co workers very helpfull. Sometimes you just missed your family specially your kids because you worked 14 days straight but on the other hand a week off is great

Most under paid survey job for a mega project I ever worked on in Canada don’t work there they don’t pay you enough it’s a slap in the face based on the work your doing.
