I found the company to be quite disorganized. My manager seemed unaware of how to correctly brief projects, they also lacked an understanding of good project management in general - as a result I lost my job due to their incompetency.

Overall my manger and upper management had terrible communication skills - they expressed they were not happy with my performance but were unable to give specific examples and direction on what needed to be done to improve. It seemed to me they didn't have a grasp on what my role was or should be - as they were unable to communicate as much.

Due to my manager's inability to manage and brief projects appropriately the quality of my work suffered. Unfortunately this is not a company that looks into the possibility that it is the manager who is the problem rather than the people trying to succeed under poor management.

Across the board they offer salaries that are below market rate and often engage in mass lay-offs. They will never pay out the bonuses they mention in job postings or during interviews.

I do not recommend seeking employment with this company.

I was contracted out to a great company through Hire Power.  I worked a combination of on-site and remotely.  Great for work-life balance. If you can deal with the uncertainty of work availability, then HirePower can be a good career choice.  

I met and worked with some very nice people, in very professional environments.  

Ongoing training and support were excellent.  It's a great team of people.

I worked with AMS Toronto and they're a highly professional team with a great amount of flexibility. They have good relationships with their clients which helps you land contracts easily.  They invest in their people with training and opportunities to grow internally. Their remote/hybrid work arrangement is their USP.

This agency works with fortune 500 companies who need assistance with their in-house recruitment or HR generalist roles. Their clients have always been amazing and they make you feel a part of their business and not just a vendor.

Nice place to work with lots of learning opportunity. The managers are very helpful and they act more like a Mentor then a Manager. 

Hire Power quarterly Off site is a good platform for networking and business updates for HR professionals

Very good company to work for with training and advancement opportunities. I enjoyed working for great clients such as Nike Inc. Good salary and employee benefits.

I learned a  lot - great coworkers, easy place to work, I loved the level of work - management are very supportive - I learned how to project manage people
