ANGELOS BAKERY

Angelo's is one of my most memorable jobs even though it was short lived, due to the cut down of hours after the Christmas holidays. The environment was fantastic. I loved everyone that I worked with, as well as the customers. The management was also great, for each department there is a different manager in that area making it easy to find who to ask questions and no mix ups in "he said, she said". The hardest part of the job became the lack of hours, because there was absolutely no way of becoming a full-time employee, unless you were a manager. In the busier times, I definitely was able to get about 30-35 hours a week, however in January my hours per week dropped to 4 because it wasn't as busy anymore. It would be a better job for younger students rather than someone who depends on their job to pay rent, groceries, bill, etc.

A typical day at Angelo`s was working at the front end on cash,talking with our customers and helping them with any problems that may arise. I learned at Angelo`s that return customers depended on the kind of friendly and courteous way we served them. Management was always supportive and helpful and provided constructive ways to help me do my job better. The hardest part of the job was dealing with customer`s complaints and if I could not resolve it quickly then I would refer it to management. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know our customers personally and receiving complements from management for a job well done.

i worked here for several years while in and out of school, full time when i needed it and part time when i could. The owners Bruno and Giuseppe Anello were supper helpful and taught me a lot. I now work fulltime as a manager and sales adviser for Costco next door. I thank them and still come in every other day for lunch they have taught me a lot in life, it's good to sometimes work for a family owned company especially one that started out with nothing in life.

The manager always makes part timers to do other things besides their main jobs and always keeps an eye on. If we make any mistakes. Everyone thinks themselves as our boss and makes us do all the stuff. Working at breakfast is so so much stressful. The people at the breakfast will tell you to do everything without even teaching or training for even once. 

Wow I have never worked somewhere, where all the staff and managers are so friendly. I felt really welcomed when i started. Although it is a really fast paced environment due to all the customers, i liked keeping busy while at work. I left to go to school, but would have stayed longer if i could.

worked all shifts, had to prepare all the slices for the day. got to put orders away with other co workers had to clean all the slicers and the deli counter, helped with inventory.

You will find everyone to be really helpful at this workplace.Remembering bread numbers and name initially might seem daunting but one is allowed to learn and ample help till you get there.

I had a great experience working at Angelo´s. Can´t complain, great workers. People are there to help. Unfortunately there is no formal training which can be stressful. Overall good.

Seeing as it is mainly students working, the scheduling should be a bit more accommodating to balance schooling. Management is abrasive with complaint

Good place to work , the owners are very good person and treat me like family all staff are good. My experienced in Angelos  was amazing and Lear a lot
