Working for APEGA allowed myself to gain information about engineers and geoscientist within Canada, which is amazing. After working for them for only a few short years I was able to communicate effectively with my co-workers and step up to many challenges that I did not think I would be able to conquer. By far the easiest part of my position was relating to clients and helping them through the process of becoming registered. The hardest part about the position was ensuring I was 100% in understanding of all the rules a regulations, which does come with time.

Many pleasant, positive and intelligent staff. Slow-moving organization, too many levels and low staff empowerment. Many executive team members say they are open to diverse questions or suggestions but that's not reality.

Turn over is way to high for a company that reflects the Engineering community.  You would also think that in 2016 that the old boys club would no longer be alive and thriving.  But APEGA is living proof!

Slow moving organization that takes a long time for change to be adopted. Difficult to progress through the company. Lots of challenging projects, but little recognition.  Friendly staff that gets on and supports one another.

Very fun working environment and great work life balance.

Many small events going on every now and then.
Flexible working hours and very engaging management.

A typical day at work was very fast paced, and I learned how to deal with clients and their issues on all different levels.

Flexibility in work schedule. Considerate in addressing personal needs of staff with respect to work performance.
Work location has easy access to public transport.

Great place to work, good working environment with benefits and a flexible working schedule. Pay is not that great. Opportunities to grow is limited within functional teams.
