This is a poorly managed company. Total garbage. Not only do they not care about their associates, but they also don't care about their clients. Even though an item is already known to be faulty or defected they will still push to sell it and wipe their hands clean after. Majority of the best loyal employees they had had already left the company, sadly. The company wants to believe that they have a culture but thats all fake. Even the way the management treats each other they're not genuine at all.

The pay is ok, thats one good thing. But later on they abuse that by asking you to do things that are not part of your responsibilities and duties. The company has really great potential, the products are stunning but what really destroys them is their own management system and organization. 

While the company's reputation is being bombarded by negative client feedbacks online, the staff are trying to aid it by posting positive feedbacks creating fake accounts. 

Overall, before making any decisions at all I suggest to do a good review first. The mistakes done by the management are passed on to the employees.

Artemano was  a unique place to work, we offered a wide variety of special product from asia, high end furniture which was nothing like what we currently had in ottawa canada.

Unfortunately the management of the company was ever changing.
During my 4 year tenure at artemano i had managed the store multiple times due to the fact that we had 12 different managers , operations managers were consistently changing and the owners had a different idea of where they wanted the company to go.

I loved everything about Artemano during my first 2-3 years with the company but unfortunately things did change, especially after the bankruptcy which affected many staff as well as our dedicated customers.
i did work for the company after the bankruptcy which was taken over by new owners, however this became an issue was they were not prepared for a company of that size .

i would not recommend working for artemano .

I'd get to work and unplug the forklift and start working right away.
There was always something that needed to be done which was great seeing as I can't just stand around all day anyways.
I had always gotten along with everyone perfectly, never once was there a problem until my immediate supervisor was changed for a much younger and inexperienced incompetent. 
I loved my job seeing as I was one of two forklift operators I felt a great sense of accomplishment everyday after finishing the containers.
However, it was short-lived as I was let go by my immediate supervisor due to the "company" wanting to focus on full-time employees.
Turns out he was fired two weeks later.

Overpriced products, you have to be really good salesman to make decent money over there. Everyday lots of issues with customers, every delivery gets messed up for various reasons. No benefits even after years of working there, many days with low to zero sales so the pressure is always on, people leave all the time. Good job to have while you looking for a real one.

It was always a good day at work, because of this job i was able to learn how to be a better team worker. The manager of the job was a good man with the ability to lead. My co-workers created a good environment for me when working. The hardest part of the job was the ability to be fast at all times. Finally, what I enjoyed the most about the jobs was learning how to build certain household items such as beds

Inventory was always off, never balanced
Alot of problemes with delivery
Alot of Mixup in clients orders
Research system for stocks wasn't user friendly.

Great furniture.  Company is run poorly.  Offers absolutely no benefits whatsoever.  Have to deal with ridiculous customers.  Only positive is the employee discount of 50%

Racist and hypocrits.

You learn how to deal with unwilling people and poorly cultured management

Gangs-like workplace culture

The hardest part is to get things done.
