What is the best part of working at the company?
Only having a good supervisor and coworkers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Threatening that they take another driver, in addition respect of owner operators are at the end of this company regarding. Even they don't care about health of staff.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This company doesn't provide any facility  for the staff, for example they were supposed to install a new sorting system but they didn't do any thing. Every day at least they use power and time of staff for sorting without paying even one penny. All the staff when fish their individual loading are really existed and with this condition should start distributing of packages which are in other cities that may is more than 100 Km. far from the Hub. At least each owner- operator is not paid $ 700-800 per month and all this money is gathered by this company.  It is estimated that more than one million dollars per year they make income from this way.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everyone should be in the hub before 6:00 am and ready to start at 6:00am. As It was explained sorting process and individual loading is done and then everyone goes out towad his-her route. Several times per week the manager takes the time to talk for staff that is most of the time including of caring about Staples packages,  threating operators and  a brief thanks if the upper bosses are pleased.

I started losing my respect for the hub managers when there was a new one coming in every couple months asking for the same information that should have been available in our files (lisence #, vehicle description). Soon after the support took a nose dive and thats when you really had the feeling of you are on your own. One manager came in and actually showed us what it felt like to be treated as human beings. We were topped up to counter fuel inflation and had sorters come in to give our bodies a break. Once they were canned they retracted all the advancements that were made so we went back to making a rate that hasn't been looked at in a decade with longer hours. Once you take a look at your expenses and how many hours you're away from home, you're making way less than minimum. I lost all respect for management when we were advised to "throw our soiled tissue into the garbage to avoide clogging up the toilet". Not only was it unprofessional but a huge biohazard. You're repeatedly told you're not an employee and have no rights. 
If you wish to lose your soul, it's garenteed here. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars was because I enjoyed working alone on the road and met some great fellow drivers. 

I have been working at ASL Distribution for well over five years. My experience working with the Senior Management Group has been very positive. Without doubt there have been challenges, mostly related to the company’s rapid growth and the high demand customers expect from service providers such as ASL. 

A significant positive thing I can say is that I have been pushed to learn and grow in my craft, so it has been a learning environment. I also particularly appreciate when there is a failure of some sort the focus has not been on the screw-up, rather more so on what we can learn and go forward with. In my many years of industry experience that focus has been rare. 

The Management group is not without there faults; however, I am giving them 5 stars because I feel I am genuinely appreciated and recognized for my contribution, and I’m also flawed at times too.  


What I appreciate most working at ASL is how supportive the team is. It's a collaborative work environment and everyone is respected and valued for our work and who we are as human beings. 
It's also exciting to work here as we provide many types of logistics services and serve customers in all industries and many of them are famous top brands. It makes me feel proud about the company I work for and also about how I contribute to its success. The hardest part of the job I'd say is when it gets really busy during peak season. But everyone pitches in and my team mates are awesome. I've worked with many of them for many years as we have low turnover. We have been growing very quickly as our services are in demand and there's lots of opportunity for growth. 

i have been with this company for well over a year. I have seen staff repeatedly get abused and pressured to work well above the normal scope of a full time position with no compensation. The terminal manager is unprofessional and manipulative in nature. the pm supervisor is to date incapable of doing her job. Favouritism is a major issue. It’s sad to see all the good managers and supervisor that legitimately cared about both the staff and company get derailed for standing up to ethical operational concerns. He truly was a good person and a good supervisor.

There has never been a good manager. No matter how hard you work they don’t care nor value you. One mistake and you’re out. They literally only act nice when they need you. Also extremely disorganized. You don’t know when you work until the day of because they don’t schedule in advance. They also don’t rotate the drivers with different routes. If you get stuck with a bad route, that’s all they’ll keep giving you.. if you tell them anything, they fire you and that’s it. No notice no nothing. A company like this is good for short term goals but if they don’t change their business practices they won’t get a lot of drivers in the future for sure.  They need qualified managers not just anyone. They have to many preferences for too many people.

I’ve been at Precision ASL for 9 months. You work hard, but the income is fantastic. Amazing group of people that have become friends, some like family. Upper management is always wanting to hear from drivers on how they can improve on the business and is always a phone call or email away. Like all companies there are challenges, but management is consistently working with supervisors to overcome challenges and implement new ideas to benefit not only the company but the drivers. 

My time at ASL was a difficult and disheartening experience. The company had a toxic work culture that was controlled by a few individuals who made arbitrary decisions without regard for other employees. There was also a culture of favouritism and discrimination, leading to a tense and divisive atmosphere. Additionally, there was a high turnover rate due to the lack of support and toxicity. I cannot recommend working at ASL due to these issues as it creates a stressful and unfair work environment that is detrimental to employees' well-being.


Been with this company a while, been through a new partnership with another company and many management changes. Very high turnover in management resulting in inexperienced, in mature management. They don’t care about you, and you use your own vehicle gas and insurance, but don’t care about where they give you runs. Unassumed roads, cottage roads, 300-500km runs, bad weather. Went from 5 days a week to sometimes 2 days a week

What is the best part of working at the company?
No rate increase only decrease expect a lot for very little

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Pressure they place upon you long hours start work to sort your own packages for free

Tense numerous backgrounds everyone is for themselves

Start at 4:30 finish around 6 then drive home for an hour
