Day to day operations of client accounts by reviewing or updating their files.

The biggest emphasis on building customers trust and a positive relationship created a good atmosphere and promoted sales growth earnings which resulted in profitability.

Challenging times were getting clients to maintain their accounts up to date during January and February but programs were in place to assist ones that qualified.

Enjoyed the line of work because the program was designed to help customers with damaged credit but also assisted with staging companies and small businesses with staging of products to enhance their environment.

The environment of staff was great and the feeling of a family atmosphere made it both great partnerships and drive for success.

Typical day at work for a sales manager involves marketing door to door for multiple hours coming back to the store, organizing the back room, cleaning the whole store, bringing out couches and building bedroom sets all alone, track the sales, plan events with a $50 budget to bring in customers 2-4 times a month. There is very little funding to support with customer growth and limited resources to be successful. Management was terrible and treated the employees like garbage blaming them that Canadian stores are not growing. In store there are too many bosses and everyone clashes and steals duties from others. Upper management was gunning for certain employees to be fired and announced it to a select few employees which started a lot of drama in the workplace and it was just overall a toxic environment.

Loved working for the Canadian franchise, they were very supportive and great Regional Managers were amazing and helpful and every way possible and helped you progress as an employee and spent time with you one on one when needed. And always there when you needed them, and support from General Managers from other stores. They were very supportive and loved working for the franchise store, but were not happy with the terms or the way I was treated when corporate took over. They didn't seem like the same company or very understanding of any family emergency situations. Even when it was out of your control.  But the prices are good compared to other companies offering the same products. And their terms are reasonable, 

It was a painfully isolating experience where I felt involved for two months and then I was never allowed to leave my desk unless it was to help a customer, other than that I had to be making non stop and very pushy sales calls, being even encouraged to call some who were on the Do Not Call list. 
I was monitored and belittled as if I was a consistent problem, to the point where a co-worker from another store put in an HR complaint about the treatment I was receiving. 
I was fired for having an earbud in my ear, even though the GM said listening to music and podcasts was allowed and it did not interfere with my work whatsoever. Ironically this was two days after HR questioned me about the horrible treatment. 

Incompetent upper management. First: they were unable to manage interview schedule (RED FLAG).  Applied for sales Managers position, was shortlisted in top 3. After a week was offered Management in Trannie position. Another guy got the Job as a sales manager, with no Furniture sales or even sales experience and a totally fake management resume (another Story).  He quits within 2 days, they hired another guy next day. I’m like totally shocked; I mean I am the MT, I should have been offered the SM job.  After reading other posts, my story aligns with others in the same company. AS a management trainee I worked as a cleaner (cleaning sofas with cat and dog hair), merchandising associate, CS and loader etc.

Everyday can be different filled with deliveries, cleaning returned product like furniture and appliances as well as electronics. Some times the general manager would have one of the PT's go out with an accounts person on runs or field visits. being there with the same people day after day it can get frustrating but can make good friendships. the hard part of the job is the heavy lifting moving in furniture into customers homes carefully with little to no damage to the furniture and the place being delivered to.

Be prepared to see greed and daily numbers to take precedence over the quality of the merchandise. Be prepared to be made to lie to cover the mistakes of management. I have never felt so subhuman in my life. Corporate does not care about the customers, most in store managers only care about the PNL. Lost a lot of myself there. Its heartbreaking to see people struggle so badly and be taken for an absolute run. If they did the math----they wouldnt choose aarons. so.... yeah. idk. its a very well crafted scam. Electronics especially.  bed bugs, fleas, feces, vomit, needles in sofas,.... BUT WAIT THERES MORE

As a CSR, typical duties are selling furniture and explaining the leasing process/price options, upkeep and cleaning the showroom, processing payments, weekly inventory, taking and placing phone calls, and balancing the till at the end of the night.
I personally did not like the hours, but maybe they are good for a retail setting.
This location had very few staff when I was there, so I always felt bad about asking for time off because it left someone there by themselves.
Aaron's 'culture' did not mesh well with me and my opinions, and I often found it a very negative place to be.

Don't even waste your breath Suppose to be a delivery driver was more of a flyer boy when I was hired I was told I would do delivery's and have stuff to keep me busy not 1 time has this place ever been busy the management is so lazy and don't care about there jobs basically a typical day of coming in and not seeing one delivery will wonder why you even got hired in the first place totally waste of time  unless you wanna be a flyer boy cause this store is failing cause nobody cares and never answers phones basically if you wanna root  this is where you go don't be surprised if you walked in there on the management sleeping 

Aaron's has too much of a turn over. Employees are not treated like they should be, especially by the manager at the Cambridge store. This company makes promises and they tell you that your job is secure when in fact, it is not. The manager does whatever he/she wants to do without any punishment or consequences. Employees are not heard when they have a concern or a problem and they're often yelled at for things that were not under their control or for things that someone else did. This company should really investigate what kind of people they have working for them.
