If you want to be cared for and appreciated don't work for this company. I was employed with them for almost 8 years. I felt I was not appreciated for any of my hard work. You're just a pawn in a game of chess. They are only nice when it suits them. I quit because I moved to a different city and obviously they didn't like that. Tried using a few of the superviors for a work reference and by doing that I have lost 2 great job opportunities. 

Going to each client every shift is a mix of joy and challenge but most of all rewarding, specially when I see a smile on their faces.  Each client has a different personality so I easily adapt to all of them, short conversation, laughing, sometimes listening to their problems and encouraging them to keep smiling and thinking that tomorrow is a new day ... a new starting.
The hardest part of my job is when some clients have their crisis and we have to follow the protocol.

Worked at the binbrook location for many years . Loved my job but what was expected from us was crazy. Way too many days with not enough staff and of course management would never lend a hand . There was no work life balance . I was part time and working 6 days a week. Could not take vacation because we didn't have enough staff.  Also having 15 minutes to wash and dress a person for breakfast...... need I say more about the care each resident gets.

Newly hired attendants are being paid more than some other attendants who have been with the agency for years due to the wage increase incentive. My position requires me to drive to some client homes, and when I pick up shifts I am not always paid mileage and sometimes have long breaks in between.

Clients are wonderful, a truly rewarding job for the right person. What a joy to be welcomed into someone's home for such personal reasons and be greeted with smiles and laughter! No stability for P/T. Management caters to F/T employees. Management is terrible. No communication, everything swept under the rug. No respect for clients or staff.

Great and very friendly  everyone in the company.

Nothing , every day is fantastic and full of energy. They provide all safety  .

laundry, light housework, grocery shop, companionship over a great cup of coffee

I enjoy working there unfortunately the RPNs are grossly underpaid. I happen to like the staff, the job, and the clients so I overlook that. I also have another job so I don’t rely on this position as my sole income, if I did I wouldn’t be working there. 

Underpaid, not treated fairly, voice not heard, miserable coworkers, negative workplace, coworkers rude to eachother and residents, management does not help when you have concerns or ideas, residents suffer because lack of empathy from management and that's only the start!

Very rewarding job unfortunately did not come with the hours or stability needed for my family.  All aspects of caring for clients were planned out and followed through by personal attendants. Management needs improvement.
