Clients were very abusive and AbleLiving didn't care.  They could be abusive as well.
The working conditions were very bad. I had to wear hasmat suits at work because of millions of bedbugs in one or more apartments. AbleLiving didn't get rid of the problem and didn't care. The days were long. We were not given enough time between clients to eat properly. There was too much driving my own personal car between clients.
It was getting harder to get vacation days. We had no sick or personal days off. The pay was not great for all the responsibilities that I had.
Clients didn't have to follow COVID protocols. Even though I wore masks, a client gave me COVID.

Excellent customer service, unbeatable diversity of staffs and great team members 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is zero  stress working at this company 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Professional, cordial, inclusive and respectful 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fast pace for the first three hours and smooth and steady afterwards

Other positions may be better working for this agency but the Homemaker position caps at $16/hr and some of the employees in our department have been there over 10 years!

I feel exploited for cheap physical labor and free emotional labor.

Also, going from job to job would be much better suited for people who drive!

As a Student in training  my day would start with A:M care, bed bath , dental care, brush hair, dress client 's and take them to dining room for breakfast. I would assist with feeding, after breakfast I would return client to their preferred destination, recreation room to watch TV or their room.

Not paid for your time driving to clients house just some of the gas lol and distance between them is sometimes half hour each way
Not enough time alotted to even make it from one client to the next
Rude management especially if your younger they are old and miserable 

I love this place  very flexible hours to balance you work and family life.best place to work.i would definitely recommend to other people that I know and manager and program coordinators are very nice people very understanding

Best part of the job is working with the individuals. Can be faced paced and under staffed at times. Overall good place to work or start out. Staff are friendly and take good care of the people. 

Working with the clients is a great joy. The management is horrible, treating staff as beneath them. Senior staff abusive and rude to clients and new staff.

I love working at thrive group for the last 5 years although I had to resige due to personal reasons mangments are great they do anything to help you succeed would refere my friends there. 

Loved working at ableliving. They are great employers. They have a great culture and great supervisors. The agency cares alot about their employees.  They try to get to know their employees
