What is the best part of working at the company?
The staff and cooperation from management make it a very desirable place to work. Very welcoming and warm environment. Always room to grow.

There is a lot of balancing class time and correcting.

Work environment can be very warming and fun. But at times can be stressful due to working with mature students of all learning levels. Can be very rewarding

I work 6 hours minimum. There is a combination of lecturing and hands on learning.

Excellent work, life balance.

I don’t find anything to be stressful.

Very family oriented.  The staff are like one big family. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I usually teach in the mornings and spend my afternoons prepping/grading.

the hairstyling instructor at kenmount is very mean to her students, especially in front of the clients, she will run each and every student down to the dirt! there was more then once i was crying in the washroom! 
DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY ATTENDING THIS PROGRAM! she will have toy questioning your life in no time. 
not to mention that if you fail a test they won't tell you or email you like any other school will, they will inform you at the last minute!

AC is an excellent place to work. Every day brings something new, and helping students succeed is very rewarding. Independence is fostered - as long as you're willing, motivated, and enthusiastic to work! The environment is friendly, supportive, and respectful.
There are lots of perks - seasonal breaks/holidays; an understanding and support staff; working with a diverse population.

Just do your job not expect anything.

The faculty at Academy Canada are amazing, they are there to assist and support you in anything that you may need. I truly enjoyed working with the criminology program and with the students that we in my group.

Te hardest part of this job for me, was knowing it was short term as I was covering a medical leave, and I knew I wouldn't get back.

The hours are decent; summer hours are a good bonus.

Ask you to take on extra responsibility with no extra compensation. Pay is also not a living wage.

Academy Canada is a high ranking institution offering many trades and known to produce highly qualified OH&S reps. qualified in many different aspects of the job and trained by highly qualified instructors with many years of experience in the field.

Easy to work with staff and friendly environment. Students always make sure things don't become to routine, and the ability to make use of the facility and services from programs is a good bonus!
