Few thoughts:
- front line staff are wonderful. Very responsive,  polite and a pleasure to talk to
- colleagues from the agency- great
- management is where it all falls apart. Esp the owner.  Disrespectful, full of assumptions and judgements. For one, I was promised a bonus after working a certain number of hours. I worked said number of hrs- i got no bonus. I emailed asking about it- no response. Very convenient. When they did email me was when i wasn’t picking shifts up. Because i repeatedly said it was medical in nature adding that once medically able- id let them know. Did they note the reason being medical in nature? No- they only cared about not making money. Which, by the way is on their terms as well. You can potentially get a lot of work or none… for about 3 months- not a shift. So, if you are considering this employer- consider elsewhere. You are valued while you bring in the money, but that is about it.  15+ years of nursing- one of the  most beurocratic businesses. Highly do not recommend

I've worked with this company for many years. Honestly, they were the most reasonable and reliable employer. So, disregard all the negative reviews some people posted in here. Clearly, the only reason they posted such mean things is to personally retaliate against a person or the company. Instead, they just needed to take a moment to self-reflect and become better as individials. We all know that it takes a special person to acknowledge their personal and professional failures and learn from them. Hope my opinion helped you better understand my experience with this company. Loved the pay and flexibilty of this job. Definitely, recommend to everyone.

So far I have really enjoyed working for Accela. By far the best agency I have worked for. I have consistently been offered shifts and the continuity at facilities is a real bonus. I feel respected and appreciated both by Accela and the assignments I accept. This is important for me coming from a long career of 20+ years feeling the exact opposite. Hard work, professionalism and my caring effort gets recognised. Couldn't be more happier! 

Loved the opportunity to work in variety of clinical settings. Great pay and company culture. Professional and courteous staff. Last minute calls for shifts were not always convenient, but that was expected. Well worth the hustle. They paid more for those. Helped me a lot in making extra $ while studying. Very flexible scheduling. Referred some of my friends to them and got paid for referrals. Nice bonus cash.

Unfortunately, AccelaStaff was one of the worst employers you will ever work for. Unprofessional, unkept promises (no bonuses as stated in posting), they will ignore your emails, they will swear at you on the phone. No job security, call in sick once and they will try to replace you. They will put you in unsafe work environments with 1 hour of training which they believe is adequate. They will charge you any time they have the chance. This company only cares about money. 

Excellent company to work with. As a mom to my 2 little kids. The staff managed to book my schedule at my availability. The staff at Accela are approachable and professionals. I am proud to be a part of the team.  I am beyond and grateful to be one of  the people serving the community with respect and compassionate care.

I recommend working with this company if you think LTC is for you, they pay great and they pay you what you are worth. The staff are quick to respond and company is very organized. Of course if you’re not hired into a full time line the work load can be A LOT but if you’re placed into a home that you enjoy, it will make your time there even better.

My experience with Accela was very negative. During my interview, the company said they paid for mileage, which turned out to be false. My first day on the job I showed up to only hear from the rest of the staff “why are they hiring more people when we can’t get any shifts”, which turned out to be the story of the job. The training was minimal, and the support from the agency left a lot to be desired. Happy to be moving on to a more stable/reliable job.
