I strongly urge potential job candidates to think again and reach out directly to past employees about their person experience working at Access Alliance. The organization's top-heavy structure fails to value and appreciate the knowledge and contributions of frontline workers. During my time there, I witnessed and experienced firsthand instances of poor management and bullying. The management's communication skills are severely lacking, and their behavior towards staff is unprofessional, resulting in a counterproductive, bureaucratic environment that stifles innovation and progress. Such an environment does more harm than good to the communities that need help the most. It was disheartening to witness colleagues break down in tears due to management's mistreatment. Despite the presence of compassionate staff who prioritize community needs, and very strategic PR/public facing moments, the organization does not care for staff mental health...this organization needs a complete overhaul. 

A typical day would be starting with reviewing my schedule for the day, following up and reaching out to clients, checking for weekly meetings, facilitating workshops, participating in trainings, and finally reporting all work done before ending the day. There is a great supportive team at this organization, my supervisor was really knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. The work environment was welcoming, diverse, inclusive and friendly. The hardest part of the job was managing the training and the tasks in accordance with deadline. The most enjoyable part of the job, was meeting the young mothers and their children, the Friday multicultural cuisines and celebrations, and the interactions with colleagues and clients in general. The environment was always lighthearted, and positive.

Let me start by saying that I would not wish my experience of working there on my worst enemy!
The manager I was reporting to was a very condescending, unprofessional, and unkind person. I only had a few face-to-face meetings, but they were all about how and what I should do, instead of guiding, supporting, and collaborating to serve the community better. Furthermore, last-minute work (that was not part of my role nor in the contract, and physically very demanding) was assigned to me weekly. 
I felt very isolated because I was told to not speak with other staff, especially from other teams because their managers did not like it. 
I had joined the agency in good faith and was very open to learning, enthusiastic about what I had planned to contribute, and proud to work there, but I now realize that I should have left after the second week. 

When I get my office Every day I receive a Good Morning from everybody.
I realized that all the communities are more than welcome.
I have realized that the word " everybody is welcome to our organization" is not just a word
My co-workers respect not only the external client, but also the internal
I enjoy when I am able to help the new comers, the people that need help, I really feel full when i get my home and I realized that I did a positive work.
My typical day at work is to greet every client in our organization and refer them to the proper area.

My position consisted of me maintaining the garden, creating programs to engage the local community. I also worked with a coworker to run these programs and events. It was our responsibility to come up with a plan, budget accordingly, and execute what we had planned with support from supervisors and managers when assistance and guidance was needed. My favourite part of the job was the work environment because the team was amazing and fun to work with !

I love working here as a freelance interpreter. Everything is so well-organised. I love the manager there she is super attentive and friendly. She will listen to your concern and try to comfort you coz we all the how stressful this job field is sometimes. She is really a good listener and she is so understanding. I really love working with her

I worked in this agency for a year at their APOD location as a contract employee.  I had some negative experiences with my Management and also with a couple of co-workers (The manager was biased and unprofessional).  There were some amazing co-workers as well.  I have felt that they are more concerned about their brand name than the well-being of their employees.   

Lovely people and clients. I like the value and mission in the place. There are a lot of programs there for especially vulnerable people. Moreover, you can know friendly and nice friends while working.

I liked the environment and my coworkers were great! The salary is okay as a junior position and there is opportunity for development. Overall nice company's culture
