This is a great place to work and the people the agency supports made me smile everyday. I had the chance to get to know my individuals and work with them to plan activities around their goals. I loved getting out in the community and doing various activities everyday as it never got boring. It ranged from job support, fitness (hiking, swimming etc), volunteering to just accessing the community.  There are a few people supported that can be a little more difficult to support but that is why they have support. It is one of those jobs where you get out what you put in. The staff also all get along really well so it was a very supportive environment. Although, as with any workplace, there are always a handful of staff that are always unhappy about something that can create unnecessary drama. Management was always supportive and flexible and were open to ideas. Again, you get what you put in and if you do you will love this job.

Management and the time the new supervisor was dating another co workers crazy x husband

Access Human Resources in Kelowna is an incredible place to work. The leadership is supportive, the team culture is positive and collaborative, and every day feels meaningful. They genuinely invest in employee growth, offer great opportunities, and create an environment where people feel valued and motivated. Easily one of the best workplaces in Kelowna.

Great management always willing to help out and very fair to there employees .The staff are friendly and kind which a lot of companies dont screen there employees enough .Clients seem very happy to be at the house playing T.V bowling or what ever they can all decide on  ,art projects to cooking and baking lunches for staff and client.

This company is full of unprofessional and dishonest office staff. Staff turn over is high due to toxic behaviour and low pay. The owner is aware and does nothing to improve the work environment. 
Don’t work here if you have morals and value your mental health.

Low quality support expectations for clients, high expectations for on call, poor training of workers, lax Covid safety protocols in homes, more concerned with optics than support for clients or workers.

The company is a progressive company that provides support for individuals living with a developmental disability. The management and support staff are a group of dynamic individuals who are committed to assisting individuals in achieving their goals.

The best part about this job is the clients. They make it worth while. Could use better pay and more benefits and incentives. Lots of driving and paying out of pocket for gas. 

For the high stress role that the staff play, it was a very low paying job, especially after graduating from University.  It is barely above minimum wage.

The staff and management are communicative, understanding, and flexible. Everyone is dedicated to providing the best quality of life to the clients. Highly recommend working at Access Resources.
