This company offers a reasonable line up of work ranging in location and environment. Great opportunity to get exposure for a more permanent solution. The compensation for short term work is fair but longer term contractual work does not offer the same compensation as getting hired on with the firm's clients. This leaves room to improve on the management end and also the need for constant review of compensation and costs. Overall the company has good practices. High turnover is generally unrelated to management and more focused on compensation combined with job security.

This company was horrible. I got placed on a site and then told at 3:30 after 8 hours on site that they work 14 hour days. This was known by management but not relayed to me. They don’t care about their employees and only out to make themselves look good and make money. The pay is on the low end of the scale. Because your temporary you don’t get benifits even though they are promised in the interview they are full of empty promises and never fulfill  rather get shot in the stomach than work here ever again.

I’ve been working with Active First Aid now for about 5 months, and it has been an amazing journey. Although I don’t get to meet a lot of other crew from AFA, the staff are incredibly nice and such a pleasure to work with. I get lots of different jobs in different areas and get to meet some of the most wonderful people. The job it’s self is rewarding and I wouldn’t want to do anything else! I would 100% recommend working with Active First Aid if you’re a CSO or OFA!! :))

I was a nice place to work. Though working as a temp always has its downsides, but this company made it a comfortable as possible. 
This company does you to get out there and do stuff, not just sit in the first aid room. 

Please note, they do have a buy out option for clients to purchase your form the temp agency. Several people have been hired by the client after you what work through Active first aid for the client.

Overall good experience. Management is very responsive and helpful. Salary and benefits are very good. But they are a manpower resource companiy so jobs depend on clients. But otherwise the company itself and the management are very good to the staff and employees. Definitely recommend no doubt about that.

As an employee for this company I was treated extremely well and always felt as though they were trying to look after my best interests.  I unfortunately was only there for three months and if I had the opportunity again I would definitely work for this company.

It's a fun job but could use more organisation within the management.
Everyday is a different day in my job which keeps it exciting; but being a first aid attendant there is a lot of sitting around. The management could use more organising that way everyone is on the same page and not jumping around like their heads are cut off.

It was a team/ family atmosphere there would recommend working here if you desire to work vs sit and wait.  Not only do you do your task but you are required to be active during your slow times. As a First aid attendant, you are expected to do general labour until there is a 1st aid case.

The staff and management at Active are fantastic! They are a good agency to work for and have your back through any conflict or issues on site. They make sure the companys you are working with are following regulation and treat you well.

I have worked for this company in the past, they were great then and still are a wonderful company to work for. The rate of pay is very fair and they work hard to find a really good place to work and further your carrier.
