•	Performing business and system analysis

•	Providing performance solutions, fixing bottlenecks and deadlocks in Oracle RAC DB, performance test statistics/reports/analysis. Tuning ‘heavy’ report queries. Performance tuning on OS level (Kernal parameters, load analysis), DataBase level (Oracle DB parameters), Application level (sql and pl/sql tuning) 
•	Solving problems with broken data and transaction integrity. Metadata and Data Dictionary management
•	Designing and implementing multi-language DB 
•	Data Modeling of multiple clients data with the same structure to store it in single schema using Virtual Private DB (VPD) 
•	DB security solutions. Data encryption/decryption
•	Implementing different data migration export/import ETL processes
•	Developing ‘auto-deployment’ tool to load development DB scripts from SVN on multiple DB environments in full ‘auto’ mode with execution statistics and email notifications

When I first started at Active it was a good place to work. The pay wasn't good, and the hours were long, but the company was run pretty well and there was a sense that everyone was working hard. 

Since the original CEO left and the company was sold, things have gone dramatically downhill. They fired a lot of people and brought in executives who don't seem to have a clue how to run a good company (a company that people want to work for and with), only how to run a company that makes money. Even worse, that too is going downhill, and they are starting to sell off more and more of the company to try and maintain profitability. 

Hours are just as long, pay is just as low compared to industry standards, but there is now a sense that poor management will result in more layoffs or the company breaking up completely. Job security is very low. 

I recommend for anyone thinking about working at Active anywhere except the head office (Dallas) that you wait at least a year or two longer to see if the company breaks up or sells off more divisions.

Not a bad place to work but advancement is nonexistent. As a CSR, I was laid off back in early 2018 when the company changed hands and the personnel moved around. Most of the CSR teams were outsourced and I left. 

Management varies. My first manager was hands off. He checked on me every 2-3 days, pointed out a thing here or there, and left me to my own thing when it wasn't busy. After the reshuffle, the new manager was on my back every day.

All in all, the work was enjoyable but circumstances meant I had to leave.

A fun place to work at. The other employees were an awesome bunch to work with. Always there to give a helping hand when needed.. The management were incredible, very understanding and respectful of their employees. I don't believe there was a hard part to the job. The company had bonus incentives for the employees.

This company was a very good place To work. Training was excellant and they made sure you were well prepared. The trainers, supervisor and managers were always available to assist. I enjoyed my stay and learned alot.

Active Network is a selfish company that cheaps out on their employees. Company lays off employees constantly,  I would not recommend this company at all.

Very nice start up company. Great business strategy and awesome benefits and HR. Flexible hours and fast growth team and managers from inside of company.

Active is great in flexibility and benefits but pay and hikes are  not so great! But will be good for a fresher or just out of collage.

it's a big mature company with great working environment. The biggest problem is it's a really cheap pay company and the c suite people are very dictator alike.
