Working at Activix allows programmers to largely make up their schedule as they wish; starting early or finishing late, or work longer days and take every other Friday off (for example). You are implicated in all the decisions made about the direction of the department even as a new member of the team. All projects are openly discussed and assigned fairly to different members of the team. The company has a very open and accessible management style and culture.  This makes working at Activix a very relaxed and enjoyable experience, which, in turn, helps us be more productive.

Sometimes the directives from Activix and the parent company were conflicting.
