I had a busy day every day, working in my admin department as well as filling in wherever I was needed. I loved the challenge of learning something new and out of the "norm" of my everyday job. I learned a lot about the software industry and how it goes from a thought to a creation regarding developing a new product. Monthy meetings kept everyone in the loop about up and coming products and how Adlib is received by perspective customers and partners. My co-workers were great and we had a wide variety of personalities of course, but it made it a fun place to be. I loved taking on a challenge that was new to me and completing it.

Contributed to development of software product offerings. Worked with C# and SQL in an Agile environment. Specific technologies used included Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). Development was done in Visual Studio 2015/2017 and SQL Server, coordinated using Team Foundation Server.

Also participated in QA, by running, writing, and fixing tests cases, as well as QA automation by creating new code for an automated QA system.

The people were very friendly and professional and were happy to show me the ropes. 

I generally don't like open office workspaces, as I find they can be distracting.

Awful company and going downhill fast over 30 people gone the last 2 months being run by new CEO and CFO that are terrible people last 2 months no longer a good place to work the rest of employees are just waiting to lose jobs when they sell us. it is a toxic viscous back stabbing place to work no one left know what they are doing as the good ones have left that had the knowledge and the product being sold is garbage. Employees quitting now every week the new management has ruined it just sell us and cut the loses and be done with it

Experience and autonomy. A great place to learn and grow.

The direction wasn’t well defined.

I personally liked it but many didn’t so much.

Meetings, focused work and chit chat and fun with colleagues

Adlib is a very productive workplace where value is placed on employee engagement and where key organization decisions are made to a large extent with significant involvement of all employees. Significant emphasis is also placed on employee learning development by the company. 

I had exceptional opportunities to grow my skillset and career at Adlib.  The management style is very collaborative, willing to try new things.  The company has an exceptionally wide and strong base of Fortune level customers worldwide.

Tough times currently. Too much talk of investment coming. Some great people however they are not empowered or they have been burnt out. Thankfully a few large deals are keeping the lights on. Politics over power  of the "team" so little is going to change quickly.

It was nice experience working Reviewed the Business/ Functional/ System Requirement Specs, High Level Design Documents, and Detailed Design Documents.

They are in a mess and the halls are empty. It's a shell of a company after a private equity firm took them over and chopped it all up. I would not personally recommend this place for long term employment.

Offshoring has hit, they did big layoffs 2019.  Great place until sales slumped and some lack of direction on where the product should go.  Change their minds a lot.
