What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with my peers and being able to work remotely 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with the owner and CEO of the company 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Being able to work from home and not having face to face contact with the owner made the job easier.  The culture fostered by the owner was one of power.  She does not accept feedback and if the suggestion was not hers it was not accepted. She tossed words like unprofessional and disrespectful when in reality she was the unethical one 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy from 8-430 Monday to Friday often missing meal breaks

I’ve been a nurse for over two years now and can honestly say I love this job the most. Not only are my management helpful and always there for me with any questions or concerns I may have, but I am also finally getting paid what a feel is a very fair wage! Travel nursing for AHCS has been the best career decision for my nursing career yet and believe me when I say you won’t regret it and my skills as a nurse in LTC have only gotten stronger since starting back in January 2023 :) Thankyou AHCS for being your awesome selves and taking me on as a part of your amazing team! 😊😊

This company suffers from a toxic work environment where communication and support are often lacking. Management consists of only the CEO and decisions are inconsistent, and employees are rarely given clear direction or constructive feedback. 
There is little accountability at the leadership level, which creates frustration, fear and uncertainty among staff. Recognition and appreciation for employee efforts are minimal. Overall, the lack of effective leadership and healthy workplace culture makes it a challenging place to grow professionally.

If you work on the administrative side, stay away from this organization.  It's highly stressful, CEO manages every aspect of work and processes. Turnover of staff on the administrative side should tell you something, and the interview will be sugar coated but once you're working on site it is not a fun place to work.  Wants everyone to work like a dog so that she can make tons of money, and is really only concerned about her retirement.  Pay is lousy.

The best part about working at AHCS is the vision and purpose we all share to provide exemplary supplemental staffing to Long Term Care, Acute Care & where applicable Community Care. The dedication to serving the healthcare sector in the way we do it second to none! I'm so proud of the work and the team!

Really enjoy working with AHCS. Administrative staff is very quick in responses, great communication skills and there for their staff. Management has been great with checking in on staff and resolving any issues that may arise while on contract.

Scheduling/scheduler toxic management

Not enjoyable management was not tolerable or kind about the owner .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fun,long,3 way split shifts,lots of driving from one appointment to the next.

work place varies each with it its own challenges. Due to nature of employment it can be very stressful coming on to an already toxic environment. try not to share to much of yourself as can be used negatively even when your intention is pure. very narrow minded management especially when there is no personal involvement in day to day work of employees. 

I love working at AHCS because the staff are very supportive, great work ethics and good pay. Administrative staff respond to emails on time, informs staff via email of changes, daily shift reminders via email/ text and their willingness to adjust work hours to suite employees needs.

The day to day work of being a medical RN was stressful due to the lack of extra bodies needed for safe staffing levels. Advanced Home Care was very supportive of my needs and involved when I needed extra support. My placement was well thought out by them.
